It's a very personal thing, but if you like fruity/chocolate flavours, I've found totally wicked's gold standard to be very close to the real thing as opposed to the "boiled candy" effect some fruit flavours have. Their melon is just delicious, as is the blueberry. Decadent vapours Lotus Flower is great if they still make it. Citrus flavours can be very refreshing to vape in the evening over some games ;)

If you want something very tobacco, look no further than House of Liquid's El Toro range, with El Cigarillos being the best tobacco juice I've ever vaped (made from soaking cigar leaf, it has a very natural smoky flavour). it's a bit pricey, but worth it. The apple accented flavour in that range is really nice too, but not as good as the el cigarillos imo. Most "tobacco" flavours taste like a freshly opened pack of fags smells (kind of raisin-y) and don't really do much for me.

RY4 is good, but they vary a lot. I too am a fan of the cloud9 stuff, because I like mine a bit sweeter, and I find the Hangsen a little less so, but still very good. They make a very good "all day vape" as they hit that nutty/savoury spot while still giving a pleasant sweetness.

Always buy 10ml bottles until you find something that you like, because the descriptions can be a bit misleading. There are always people on here with stuff to trade if you don't like them.
 
I'm sure it has happened a million times before but I lit my E-cig with a lighter yesterday while I was concentrating hard on ANNO 2070.

Fortunately I realised before it took hold but thought I would warn others to keep cigarette lighter out of reach when using e-cigs.
 
For beginner vapers, you can not go far wrong with the Mini Vivi Nova. I think for price and quality, it can't be beaten. And recoiling the atomisers? It'll last forever.

I don't know that much about the eVic but a lot of talking about them in the Vaping world atm I'm happy enough with my Vamo which is a good bit cheaper.

The green atomiser is a carto tank of some kind. These have kind of fallen out of flavour lately. A carto tank is a way of using a say 1 ml carto but with 3ml or more of juice. You basically punch a hold in the body of a carto and put it in the tank. I've never used one myself.

Not sure on the skirt clearance on the Evic, but on some skirted devices the Kangers and Evod's dont fit into the groove and require a 510toEgo adapter to work correctly, again not sure if the Evic has that issue, for example, the Vamo's recessed skirt will not fit an Evod BCC or some of the Kanger BCC so you need a 510toEgo adapter so they fit - For £2-£3 for one its worth adding one to your next order.

Yeah, just rinse it in warm water and leave it to dry (this takes a while because they're designed to absorb liquid!). Sometimes it doesn't go completely and you either suck it up until the replacement liquid takes over, or just bin it. Give it a go first of course.

I'm not a fan of most tobacco liquids since they don't really taste like a cig. You can always try mixing a bit of caramel flavour into it to soften it up. Oooooh, if you can, get a decent coffee flavour (some are rancid, but Decadent vapours cappucino is good) and mix it with caramel. It is the bomb.

Gooseberry

I love their blueberry for its realistic taste, and I tried a friend's honeydew melon from them and loved it, so I'm hoping the rest are as good. Excited! I'll report back when I get them on the go :)

Well guys I'm after some upgrade advice!

I currently use the Riva 1100 deluxe kit, but I'm on my second set of batteries now and they seem to be dying far quicker than the first lot!

What would the logical next step be in vaping kit wise?

I use the boge 510 cartos currently but something with a little more liquid capacity would be good :)

Glad you like it. It's one of my favs :)

I received delivery of 500ml of PG/VG today, as well as a bunch of nic base, but most importantly, I got my flavour concentrates from TW.

I have so far mixed up 50ml of base fluid at 12mg (it's really strong so I may have lost count while putting the PG in and brought it to about 18mg :p)

I just fired up some of the gooseberry, and my god it's powerful stuff. I mixed it at about 11%, which seems a bit strong. I does, however, taste like gooseberrys, with a slight hint of tangfastics mixed in. It has quite a sharp floral tone to it. I'll see if that mellows at all after some time to steep.

Real Tabs. This is one I approach with trepidation, because "tobacco" concentrates tend to be miles off the real thing. This advertises itself as recreating that "ashy vape" so I decided to give it a go. It's actually quite good. It still has that raisin-y taste like how a pack of fags smells when opened, but there's definitely something else to it that adds substance. Still, not exactly an ashy cigarette taste really. Nice to vape though.

The others I'll get round to later. I think I may need to let the large base mixture blend a bit, because my head is flying from all the nicotine!

Maybe consider something with a 2200mah battery, maybe a variable voltage device? The Vamo is reasonably affordable for an upgrade and a section unscrews so you can have it in mini-mode for when you're on the go. The boge cartos are still decent, although I prefer the smok dc megas which hold about 3ml in them.

That's the one :) You'll need a couple 18650 (shorter if you want to use it in mini mode) batts and a charger to go with them though, so you'd be looking at about £70-80 all told. Very nice though. I have the stainless one and it's superb.
