Thanks to some great advice in here, I think I'm well on my way.

I have a Vamo V2 courtesy of a rather nice chap who wanted rid of his one, my Kanger Protanks have shipped, I've got some Vanilla Custard on the way and Scope has popped some samples in the post to me - now, all I need are some batteries to power the damn thing and a charger to give them something to work with!

It looks from a healthy number of posts on here that the Nitecore i4 is the charger deemed to be 'up there with the best' but I'm a little hazy on the batteries.

A cursory test with the Vamo makes me think that running it in single 18350 'mode' might feel a little short, although the balance might be okay with the tank on the top. Would using multiple 18350 batteries be a sensible route to take, given I then have the option of length and can choose to adjust as I see fit? Or should I just go for the 18650s instead?

Where did your Vamo come from Roalith?

Got mine from www.vapingthings.com - along with a Panasonic CGR18650CH battery and an Xtar charger. Very fast delivery, ordered it at about 3pm and arrived the next morning - haven't had a single problem with them, can't say any better really!

Famous last words though, noticed a slight scratch on it earlier (probably from rattling around in my pocket with my phone). Will see how it goes.

Finally got the AgaT 2 working well - just need to get used to the airy vape! Goes well with the chrome Vamo, but still wish I'd got the SS version...

Currently vaping some of Scope's Raspberry as I ran out of Apple Tart before the Aga T arrived :(

To say this thing creates clouds is to understate things... Look what happened when I exhaled out of my kitchen window...

word of warning mate, custard doesnt taste right in the kanger protank, use it in a normal clearomiser

give it a go by all means but just put a bit in, i couldnt believe how strange the legendary favourite all day vape custard tasted so weird in the protank. if you like fruity flavours get in touch with my supplier and friend simon, he makes some juices a lot of us on here enjoy, the raspberry, strawberry and apple tart are amazing. let me know if your interested. hes a really great guy to deal with and his juices are perfect in the protank

I prefer the vamo in little mode as it fits my pocket when I'm out and about, but i usually use it in lights sabre mode at home. :)

Rule of thumb, use one or the other, dont stack the batteries. One 18350 in small mode or one 18650 in big mode.

Fair play, one thing i did notice about he V3 that i got from Fasttech is that the screen is ever so slightly on the ****. Not a lot but you can just notice it if you really look.

I thought that with the first batch i had, but the second lot i got plus removing the top wick on the KPT made it amazing. Not sure which of the two made the difference but GVC in a protank for me is way better than anything else, CE5, Vivi Nova etc. Only the Evod is as good. :)

Would that be Scope?

Message received and understood.

Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries + Nitecore i4 a safe bet?

Phew - that's made me feel a lot better!

Yep, Simon is Scope. :)

Yep them batteries are used by some of the guys here iirc, so they must be good. That charger is the one i've got my eye on too to replace my WP2 II, its all good.

:)

Great stuff, thanks for being patient and taking time to answer my seemingly incessant queries. Next step is reading up about mixing and counting down the days until all the gear arrives and the juices have steeped sufficiently to crack on!

Ordered the new Red Cola flavoured e liquid from Vapeland yesterday and got it through the post today - absolutely love it! :) Sadly though I've found a few recent new flavours that I've ordered from them to be very hit & miss i.e. Caramel, Cherry (only 8mg though as 16mg was out of stock to be fair) but both of them are not very noticeable in terms of flavour at all. I also ordered the Red Energy one a few weeks ago too which is absolutely lovely but that's the 24mg version (just to see how much stronger it is than 16mg) which I'm finding too strong on my throat & nostrils - I may be ordering the 16mg version very soon.

Have any of you EGO-T CE5 users invested in the newly stocked Vision vaping products from there yet and if so, is there any noticeable difference when compared to the CE5 and is it worth upgrading to a Vision one?

Thanks - Liam

fasttech should be called slowtech, i paid them on the 3rd of july for a load of stuff, i got an email today saying its been shipped. so 7 full days just to wait for it to be shipped which will take ages.

I ordered some stuff yesterday and it was all sent out today?

Maybe some of the stuff you ordered wasn't in stock?

As others have suggested, I've removed the top wick in my Kanger... initially it seemed fine and doing as people seemed to suggest it would (more flavour and vapor) but now it's gurgling one hell of a lot and seems to be leaking a smidge.

Will stick another head in later and see what happens. Imagine it'll be fine, and I was probably just too heavy handed when plucking the wick.

I've got a few CE5's i dont want, and some spare heads. Any good?

I've seen the kits and I have one of the older kits that they now have in the clearance section.

I personally wouldn't bother upgrading, There wont be that much of a difference if at all imo.

If you want something different/better you could try a Kanger Evod. 100 times better than the CE5's.

My Grants Vanilla Custard arrived today (which was freakin quick). My god I'm addicted to it :o

THE nicest sweet flavoured eliquid I've ever vaped. Tastes great when inhaled, and tasted even better when exhaled (I've been exhaling through my nose to get more flavour :p )

Wish I'd bought 100ml now!
