Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's gonna get a little more difficult/expensive to get your juices.

Royal Mail have new restrictions in place from the 14th July. No posting eliquid in the mail.

http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/15413-Royal-mail-eliquid-ban-uk

In that thread, the quoted vendor jumps on to say they've never stated RM will ban eliquid postage - they've only mentioned how the strikes will affect posting times from ALL businesses using RM.
I imagine, if/when nicotine liquids are restricted, the vendors will just use another delivery method and pass the cost onto the consumer. Most already make a reasonable profit from postage charges alone!

I'm really not sure where the rumour has come from - nothing in that RM document mentions anything about the restriction of nicotine-based products, be that liquid or solid, and only specifies 'toxic' substances in the loosest of terms.

This all seems like hearsay to me.

Meh :(

Well eliquid is a poisonous liquid as it has nicotine in it. Fairly straightforward really. It's not a loose term. Q: Can you die if you drink this liquid? A: Yes. The question of volumes is another matter.

Edit: I am wondering why this is not getting more coverage though. I may speak to RM myself.

What a joke. Royal Mail seemingly trying to make themselves as absolutely useless as possible as time goes by.

Honestly, an alternative carrier would cash in big time right now by offering lucrative deals with vaping supplies vendors: Look like a hero, and score some bucks.

I know a lot of you already have and do campaign actively. For the newer people that may not be aware.
There are ways that we can at least make our feelings heard. Links below.

Well, I'd suggest we didn't have any information.

All we seem to have got thus far is hearsay and rumour about whether or not e-liquids, and presumably only those containing nicotine, have been banned by Royal Mail.

I'd argue that there's nothing on that Royal Mail PDF that specifically states that is the case and that even if it were the case, it would have been enforced since the 14th of January as that's the date on that document.

Unless someone can provide catagoric proof that e-liquids containing nicotine have been banned along with an explanation of why it's taken six months to come into effect, I'm assuming it's business as normal.

The cynic in me thinks this is simply Chinese whispers and has come about on the back of the recent EU ruling on vaping and people wanting to scaremonger. But as I rely on this thread for all of my vaping news, I'm fully prepared to be proved incorrect on my particular viewpoint!

I think you're correct on the rumours bit.

Batteries it seems have been banned to an extent (Lithium), unless they are in protective cases and only two can be sent in a package (Yet my mate had 2x x 18650 and 2 x 18350 batteries sent to him this week that weren't in protective cases).

I'd be quite interested, thanks. I like my V2, and I admit the "ribbed for her pleasure" look does put me off a bit, but performance/£ is my main criteria these days. If someone made a mod that was the best vape in the world ever, but was housed in a pink *****, I'd still use it.

As promised, at last! :)
