I'd say it likely isn't totally tasteless. While I can't taste anything from it I can smell something unlike other bases which I can't smell anything from. If I mix it up with just PG I can't taste anything very much (just tastes the same as PG on its own) but you can smell something off the juice so I'd say there is a chance someone could taste 'something'.

Since it doesn't effect me in anyway I'm fine with it and it is a great price. For me it is tasteless.

Liberty Flights' "Original Red", and OK Smokey's Lambert and Butler are two of the most authentic cig flavours I've come across. The Lambert and Butler in particular has a very convincing "ash" aftertaste on the exhale that took some getting used to after not touching a cigarette in a while!

I would love to buy and try, but it's pre-mixed and I already have all the mixing kit, do you know anywhere that sells these as a flavouring?

Yay - had an receipt email from Bulli today confirming my order :D
Took them a while considering I ordered on the 18th
Hopefully that mens that my Bulli A2-TM is on its way to me now, good job as I only have 2 clearomisers left..
Can't wait to get back on a tank system, the whole leaky cart, syringe thing is really gripping me..

What mod/battery are you going to use with the Bulli ?

I was totally confused on what to get, but have ended up with a Rok Star tank system.
My only other PV was a 10motives the wife bought me from a supermarket.
Personally I think its great. Anyone else have a Rok Star??

I need to buy some extra juice tho. Whats the most popular juice after coming off roll ups??

Cheers

I've been watching this thread with interest.

Can anyone recommend a decent setup to get going?

i don't fancy pre made starter pack, i just want to spend £40 on the right gear to keep me going for a month.

Cheers

Andy

The Rok star is yet another tank system. It's not long been on the market, but it has been getting a lot of rave reviews. Could be a good choice for a starter kit.

Edit...there's a discount code 'fest'

Using this will take the Rokstar full kit to below £40. I think you need to make an account with them before it accepts the code. And the code will be limited, not altogether sure when it expires.

have a look and see if you like anything on here

http://safercigs.co.uk

25% for this weekend using 'casper' at checkout.

id say ego-tanks are good places to start, on that site they have an updated version and other things

Second day with my rok star and I have only had two roll ups :)

The larger battery button wasnt working but rok sent me another next day and its fine.
Also bought some juice from liberty flights to try but cant seem to buy a non tobacco flavour as instinct/habit tells me to get them instead of fruit/choclate style flavours.

PG (Propylene Glycerol) won't give any real throat hit. It's the nicotine that does that. I've vaped pure PG with no nicotine, and it had no throat hit at all.

VG (Vegetable Glycerine) gives visible vapour, and adds a hint of sweetness to the vapour. I.e. if you vape VG, you'll get clouds of cotton wool for vapour, where as PG you'll just get a whisp of smoke like vapour that vanishes really quickly.

However, pure VG has a high viscosity and can't be used in atomisers like the Tank systems used by the eGo-T/Tornado and 510-T/Titan-T. I found having any more than 30% VG causes problems.

Anymore questions, fire away.

Duh!! i recieved my 50mg nicotine and it is VG not as i thought PG how would i go about using it if i want a 70%pg /30% vg mix ? do i add pg to the nic juice or i have read i should mix 10ml of the nic with 6 ml of vodka and also mix my pure vg with vodka to get a throat hit if that makes sense lol

VG based nicotine will have already been thinned with distilled water. At least every company I know of does that even if they don't always tell you so. I ain't so good at the maths but some one will likely be able to tell you how to work it out. It will depend on the MG you want thou how much VG you will have to have.

I'd say don't worry to much about % just mix up some to the MG/ml you want in small batches until you get something you like.

i am looking to get a 24mg final mix 70%pg and 30% vg but i dont know how to do it using vg nic base and pure vg as i dont have any pg. i have been told i can use vodka instead to give me the throat hit in place of the pg but dont know how to do it:(

You can't. It is impossible to make 70% of it PG @ 24mg if the base nic is in VG. Almost 1/2 of the mix has to be VG base just to get 24mg. You don't want the other 50% just to be vodka, the juice will be too thin. You are going to have to change what you want or buy PG.

What I would do is mix 15% vodka with 85% of your pure VG and use that as the no nic. Have you seen the calculators out their to help with mixing? If not this one is pretty good. http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php

Noob alert!

What kind of PV can you use VG in then since tanks are out of the question for VG?

You can use tanks for VG juice just as long as they ain't too thick. Pre-made ones might be I've not bought one with only VG, but if you mix your own you can thin it with vodka or distilled water enough for it to be fine in a tank. I'm not sure which other methods are better than the tank for VG heavy juice, someone likely will know but a tank can work.

I have tried what you said and made up some juice 15% vodka with 85% of your pure VG as the no nic and its not to bad tons of vapor :D just needs a bit more TH hit and it would be spot on. i have also ordered some PG to get the mix right, thanks for the help

Ive been vaping for a few months now and i was wondering how much more or less nicotine my body is taking in.
Is there anything out there that explains roughly how much say tornado tank of 14mg strength contains?

Nicotine strength is measured as mg per ml. So you are using 14mg/ml nicotine strength, and the tornado tank can hold 1.6ml of fluid.. so 14mg/ml * 1.6ml = 22.4mg per tank.

Though it's easier to just go with ml.
