Maybe to get him started...30 1.4ohm coils for £9 off the auction site? It would last him a year and ease him into it slowly. Ill pm yoou the link if thats any good. Its what I did 6 month ago and helped me a lot as I got a mixture of sizes and ohmage to see what I liked best
 
Just made a new coil with my old 30g kanthal, iv made a new coil every day with 28g and every coil has gone foul after hmm, 6 hrs or so for the past 5 days, iv made absolutely perfect looking coils no hot spots no nothing, even the coil after 6 hrs looked fine and the cotton wasn't discoloured at all but it was rank tasting, no idea what im doing wrong with 28g, but with 30g coils well the last 30g coil I had lasted a week! so going to see how this one turns out back on 30g.
 
anyone used puffin eliquid before? just got 2 bottles through (apple pie and jungle juice, 80% vg, 6mg) and they taste really odd so far... any idea of recommended steep time as i can't find anything on their site.

Sorry, do you have a link? Tempted to order but thinking making his own will put him off!

Can't seem to find varied ohm packs, only one set ohm.
 
I know I said I wasn't going too..... But I like new things. :D

Purposely built it the same as my KF lite's to compare, Its very good, better draw, better flavour and built like a tank. Nowhere near as complicated or as fat (!) as it might look. :)

anyone used vapercraze.com before? they mailed me a 25% discount and I'm tempted to absuse it. Just that their website don't look finished yet.

Best purchase I've made since I've started vaping. I got the Sigelei 100w box mod to go with it, with I must admit is overkill. I was on a Nautilus & MVP2, but this new setup is 100% better in every way. I had to lower to nicotine and increase the VG to get a nice thick cloud without killing my throat, but lowering nicotine is a good thing, and I'm very happy :-)

You won't be disappointed!

Nice - any leakage going on?
 
Nope, no leaking at all so far. Not even when I was buggering about with it after I built it. Mind you, my KFL+'s dont leak either (unless I overfill them!) :)
 
Its the real thing, purchased from Cloud 9 on Saturday when they went live.

I've had too many issues with clones, so I try and avoid them now. :)


I'll try and get a pic of it sat on my rDNA30 in a bit if I get time. :)
 
One thing im interested in knowing about the KF V4, would one of the custom flat top caps from a Lite fit the V4 - its just one of those things that bugs me about the KF in general that wierd stepped top cap.

I doubt it tbh. Next time I break it down I'll try my KFL Piston topcap on the 4. :)
 
Hey guys

Ordered another genuine Kayfun Lite Plus & also the Kayfil tool which enables you to access the coil and wick without having to drain the juice.

Just really impressed with the KFL that I bought last week :)
