Poll: The Vega Review Thread.

What do we think about Vega?

  • What has AMD been doing for the past 1-2 years?

  • It consumes how many watts and is how loud!!!

  • It is not that bad.

  • Want to buy but put off by pricing and warranty.

  • I will be buying one for sure (I own a Freesync monitor so have little choice).

  • Better red than dead.

Results are only viewable after voting.
They should keep the 64 at no more than £450 and 56 at no more than £350 IMO unless they're just holding out for Freesync users.

I'm annoyed, even though i've got a 1080Ti and have done since release. Nobody should be happy with the performance of these cards, we all lose. They need to work on the cost and hopefully drivers can close the performance gap a bit.
 
Lol my daughter got married on Saturday and am still celebrating heavy. How bad is Vega 64 and is Vega 56 half decent. I can't be bothered to read the reviews if it's as bad as this thread is responding.

Well at least Raja started Navi from scratch.

Yeah, I mean, it's the worst graph, but I'm not even sure how you achieve that on what is a very similar chip clocked 70% higher. What is it doing for half it's clock cycles?!

We really have to hope for Navi now I guess.

Fury X seemed to under perform for it's spec and in that game it would seem that Vega is even more limited. Poor show tbh. Give it a year though :D:D:D
 
if you play at 1080 the 1070 gtx is the better option across the gaming board.retailers have dropped it to near £300 and its faster at 1080 on avg than the cheapest £450 vega.amd needs to readjust the stupid pricing.

Don't bother reading reviews. Lets just say Vega is not "TheRealDeal" :p;)

they have, also AIB have reduced profit margins on the card - not much they can do bar take a bigger hit on them selves
