US: The Walking Dead Season 3 (contains spoilers)

I miss the fact that zombies are no longer scary. Killing them is a joke now.

Well, they're used to them now. They've all killed their fair share and some were never bothered in the first place. They're also pretty well armed for the most part.

They are of course an entirely different proposition when there's many of them, or you're in a closed space or it's a surprise attack.

I'm glad they stuck with the slow, creeping menace zombie rather than the ones from 28 Days or the recent remakes. And in the comic, the zombies haven't really been the threat for a long time. They'll play their part though, I'm sure.

This has been dragging on now since end of season 1 (the only good season)

Lazy writing relying on characters doing stupid things to carry the story forward. You can miss entire episodes and be no worse off for it. In fact so little happened this time they will struggle to have enough to fill the 'previously in the walking dead' prelude.

Awful, and such a waste :(

An average episode. The cat and mouse in the warehouse went on for too long.

The governor's character is getting a bit more unstable, which is good.

I like how Milton is developing.

Looks like they are saving all the action for the next 2 episodes.

for a zombie series this really disappoints 80% of episodes are just filler crap this season.

at this rate it will get canned soon

It looks to me like they didn't have enough material for an entire season so padded it out.

I actually liked this last episode. Filled with suspense and the Governor is at least starting to become more unhinged and sinister.

Was cool to see Tyrese lose it a bit as well, he'd be far too timid thus far.

I can't help but feel they put the bit with Andrea outsmarting the Gov in the warehouse to try and make her character more liked with the fans. It looks like she's here to stay (surely she'll get out her current predicament) and most fans in general can't stand her - so by making her "bass-ass" they hope people will warm to the character.

Very much looking forward to the last 2 episodes and predicting the inevitable main cast deaths :p

Enjoyed that episode, the warehouse part was intense! He really is loosing it :D Loved the whistling and dragging the spade along the ground parts.

Would love to know he got out of there alive as it seemed like he was pretty much cornered, no ammo and no good melee weapon.

I wonder who will die from Rick's group........

there not dead though in 28 days they are alive but have a virus so not zombies, that's why they died out in the next film 28 weeks

What happened to Andreas gun, the one you know, she was gonna shoot the Guvnor with. Then she decided to run off only with a penknife?

Just stupid.

It got taken by Martinez (governor wanted every weapon to be handed in) just before she was going to leave, he also asked if she had a knife, but she said "what? do you want to frisk me now?" or something like that)

What a rubbish episode, took stupid to a new level.

How the hell can Andrea not evade "capture" on foot with a head start in open country against a fella with one eye. I don't care that he knows where she is headed or that he has a vehicle, it would not be so damn hard to hide.

Why the hell did she go in that building? She was going to the prison, why did she go in the building? To rest? Find a nice ditch somewhere and lie there, sheesh.

Second, I am literally sick and tired of zombies coming out of nowhere. Eg. Wide shot, woods, person walking, wide shot, wide shot, trees, trees... CLOSE-UP, OMG ZOMBIE!

Like for example in the latest episode when those zombies attacked her whilst she was hiding behind the tree, how stupid. They're not exactly quiet or fast movers either, I bet they smell too.

How can zombies sneak attack? Explain it to me.

Yeah I agree it was stupid going into the warehouse, should have just kept going.

And yup also agree and the thing is I seen that coming a mile away too, typical walking dead style of "surprise zombies", plus the fact that she had 3 zombies in front of her, surely she would have seen them ages ago, like they just materialised out of nowhere......

Those things annoy me the most on this show.

I feel the same. Surprise stealth zombies are done too much in this show, and it's very obvious when they are coming. The latest episode was very bad for this when Andrea was hiding by the tree, 2 seconds later she is surrounded by zombies who appear out of no where.

I was annoyed by the zombies coming out of nowhere too, however you also have to take in to account that some of them just lay on the floor or something to that effect and only get up when they hear movement, which would/could explain where they came from so quickly.

That would be fine if we had seen that trick anywhere in the 3 series.
