US: The Walking Dead Season 3 (contains spoilers)

Wow... They're really bumping up the pace this season.

I was sad to see T-dog go - Lori much less so. The scene at the end with Rick and Carl was very well performed.

Watched it last night, That was the best episode yet i think! :)

Although I am wondering where she went of to as from what I could gather, that led back outside to the courtyard part where Hershel and the girl were, so surely they should have seen where she went or better yet based on the fact that there were no zombies around when Rick etc. went through the door, she could have just gone where Hershel and the girl were standing  Although I am guessing this is just another thing that we shouldn't think about too much, much like every thing else :p
I wondered the same thing....

Andrew Lincoln knocked it out of the park at the end there, really went beyond acting, made me think maybe he was channelling something personal at the time. Fantastic.

10/10. First time the TV series has came close to being like the comic. Brilliant :D

It's really going to be interesting to see how Carls character develops now ... having to do that's got to mess with your mind!

But yea not bothered one iota about loosing lori!

What non sense is this i can't believe that lori is dead. Not only is she dead but her son had to shoot her and WTF!!! :(

I still can't believe it and it was a bit emotional at the end of the episode.

Not non-sense, she had to die, it's a massively pivotal moment in the comic. Though this was nowhere near as mental as the comic version.

Hmm possibly but the way it built up to it with the flashback where Rick talks to him and then the stone cold look on Carl's face as well (:p) as the way that Rick looked at Carl when he realised what he had done would suggest he did actually finish her of, if not then it all would seem a bit pointless :p

Maybe he will keep her attached to chains or something just like what the black guy did with his pregnant wife/GF in the newest dawn of the dead film :p

Gotta say, rarely this happens with a TV show, but I nearly started bawling at the final scene when Rick finds out. After all he's done to find them again and keep them safe ... :(

Also, whilst I understand the hate for Lori, credit must also be given to Sarah Wayne Callies for her performance, had me on the edge of weeping too.

The episode was ok I guess. Much preferred the first 2 though :p

I feel that it has come close to a logical conclusion. Too many of the originals died for the series to continue and remain interesting. I was also feeling the same in season 2, now let alone now.

From what I have seen in the very last part (where it says next week on the walking dead) Rick becomes close to a psycho. It makes no sense at all. All the rest have lost friends and family yet you were ok about it. Not only that, but actually your wife died giving birth to a baby, not being eaten by the walking.

It will only go downhill from now on imo :p

Lol! Bit of a difference there between other people's friends/family and your own wife dying :p :D

Also he really did get upset with Shane and Dale's death, although it didn't seem to have a long lasting effect.

The reason he was so devastated was that:

- he wasn't on good terms with his wife ever since the farm and it seemed like he wanted to forgive her for what she had done and get back together with her but he just couldn't thus as soon as he finds out that she is dead he knows that he will never get to tell her how he truly felt and patch things up with her, imagine yourself in that situation

- he knew that carl had finished her off, again :p imagine what would have been going through your head if you where in the same position as Rick, your own son "finished" of your wife/his mum, something, which a son should never have to do, especially considering his age

Plus I would imagine that he would have a lot of guilt at that time knowing that if only he had taken care of Andrew himself rather than being a savage and leaving him to be dealt with by the walkers, then none of that would have happened in the first place as well as trusting the 2 prisoners instead rather than locking every gate, which meant it delayed Daryl, Glenn and himself by a good few minutes with having to unlock the gates to get back to the courtyard again, those 5-15 minutes could have been enough to have saved T-dog and Lori.

That scene was absolutely superb and IMO Andrew Lincoln absolutely nailed it.

I actually think that due to that death (Lori) it is going to make for a very interesting season with Rick and Carl, that has got to change them both completely.

Also curious to see how things will go with the 2 new guys (the prisoners).
