And I believe this is THE current myspaz 'pose'. If anyone recognises the guy in the picture by the way, he's a **** who I used to go to school with. He is seemingly so 'converted' to indie that he has a picture of himself on his myspace, taken by himself, holding up a guitar in the mirror.

They seem to be refitting the komedia atm, it was in pieces yesterday.

I'll see what I can do, although you might not mix easily with my preferred genre of black or power metal ;)
 
Networking/social sites are a tool. Like the internet itself. It can be a good thing or bad thing depending on how you use it.

Myspace is cool because
- You can meet some interesting people if you don't just add every nutcase that wants you on their list.
- You can share your experiences in the blog with friends.
- Plenty of pics of hot babes
- some funny myspaces - depends what floats your boat.
- allows you to be creative with the customising of your page
- can relieve the boredom of a dull day
- I actually met someone in real life that I found on there and I am going on holiday with them this summer. (if I never post on here again they probably killed me - burn myspace to the ground)

Myspace sucks because
- Your private life is on the web
- A virtual life is no replacement for a real social life and some people on there don't seem to realise that.
- almost as sad as flaming on a forum

Rules of the web part 2:
Do not spam
Do not buy from spammers
Do not forward chain emails
Always flame a flamer
Kill people that use l33t speak
Dump messenger and get skype
Dump IE and get Firefox

Agreed - Trillian is great but is not great here where it can't get through my office firewall.

Skype is defintely better than messenger.

Messenger hates:
Cannot message anyone when in invisible/appear offline mode
People can nudge you so your whole screen shakes. Annoying as hell.
Tries to keep selling you stuff - whether it be smilies, plane tickets or other stuff.

Skype rules because:
Clean simple interface.
Easier for people/friends to find you.
Is popular worldwide
Can make calls to landlines
I have a skype in number in 3 countries so people can call me like a local call from a regular landline.
File transfer works even through corporate firewalls as it gets relayed if a direct connection cannot be established
Free download of skype for PDA/Smartphones so you can skype on the go.
Can use mobile/PDA version to make cheap/free calls while abroad
Keyboard shortcuts for smilies easier to use.
Not connected to microsoft

Yeh i know! I walked past it the other day and though ooo er! But we are downstairs. Turin Brakes are performing upstairs on that night. They are fitting in a new bar i think? Not too sure!
Ahh so do you drink down the hob? I have a friend who hangs around brighton and likes black death metal lol
There probably wont be any death black metal bands playing on that night...but there is a quite good rock band of my friends playing, and a few more rocky ones!
 
I feel left out! I've not taken loads of random pictures of myself and posted em onto the interweb, maybe I should get started........
