Did anyone else choose the third option on the Scent of Incense quest in Flotsam (not give the recipe to him), only to find the quest comes to a disappointing end different to what it says should happen in the game guide?

I gave it to him and then said I wanted it back when he refused to pay up straight away. Not sure what to do now as I'm supposed to meet him near the gate in the square but he's nowhere to be seen. :confused:

Haven't followed much of it, but I think the included game guide pertains to an earlier build of the game.

For example, in the dungeon, when you come across the torturer in early builds he was whipping Aryan's bare-breasted mother. The game guide describes that exactly.

Now, however, you simply see the cut-scene where she's released and you go speak to her with that other dude.

I think this was actually removed/changed after PC Gamer journalists whinged about the gratuitousness and perceived misogyny of the original scene during a preview visit.

Nope havent changed anything like that, the only think i did do was change the Troll dlc from .dlc to .dzip to get it to work

So I bought this thinking it's gonna be good.

Come on, it's crap. If this was on PS3 we'd all be tearing strips off it, the graphics are nothing better than we seen on the first X-box, it's pretty much two button combos with a slow motion effect if you throw some magic around the place!

I bought the premium edition, and when it arrived I was impressed with the box, then opened it up to find a coin (yes a coin), and 2 cardboard cut out models for my desk!!!

It's not for adults, it's for 12 year olds whose parents let them play games rated for adults.

I'll persevere with it tonight (if I can ever get out of that damn courtyard), and hopfully it'll change my mind.

I am very much enjoying the game. However, i will say that i think people are going VERY easy on it

If some of the elements in it were found in any other game such as DA2, they would be tearing it to shreads.

anyone able to help - I DL the 1.1 International Patch run the .exe and get an invalid version error.

A word of warning - whatever you do DO NOT reset your password. I've tried it 4 times today and haven't received a single email giving me instructions on what to do next. Waited a whole day for it and checked the spam box - nada

Use Axii on one, he will attack the other, then you can finish them. Easy.

People, how about being a bit creative? Geralt has PLENTY of "tools" at his disposal to slay monsters with.

That the one in the old asylum or something? If it is then yrden one in a corner then smash the other and run away. Keep rolling around to split them up so you can yrden again. took me a few goes but it worked out well. After these 2 the others died quite easily for some reason.

i found it best to put a yrden down where one of them will spawn before you trigger it. Makes starting a little easier.
