The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Power efficient drivers for gaming conventions and cafe gaming set ups ;)

And yes they work just as good if not better than standard desktop drivers. Hell atleast they don't give driver has stopped responding unlike the 353's in chrome

Work great in The Witcher 3

Still don't see the point? Is it confirmed stable compared to the real ones?

Uhh, just had a new type of crash, display is perma black, can interact with windows in general (alt-tab), but not see anything regardless.

Probably not a new thing overall, but first ive dealt with this, ive had a few application crashes before, usually reloading a save, but this is worse :(.

Witcher forums are saying that it's fixed for all new quests that you accept, not for any that are still in your quest list from the last patch.

Thanks for confirming. I did not have too many quests pending, so hopefully even if any are affected the impact will be minimal.

Cheers bud, but the SLI performance is even worse/ non existent in Witcher 3 with ANY other drivers apart from these buggy 353.xx series.

Believe me, I've tried em all, and even tried exporting SLI profiles from 353.xx and into other drivers using Inspector. Still no good.

Also, I don't crash in any games, only display stopped responding Kernel crash on the desktop. Moving a window to a second screen just did it! Amazing work Nvidia.

I was having display driver crashes - mainly the game would freeze straight after coming out of the menu's/iventory, the screen would turn black and i would have to alt tab out - then in event viewer it said the display driver had crashed. This would always happen within about an hour of playing, sometimes within minutes.

Then, after some researching, i set the power mode in the nvidia control panel to "prefer maximum performance", then turned the games vsync and 60fps lock off (ie v sync off and fps to unlimited), set v sync on in the nvidia control panel and made the game fullscreen ( realised it was running in borderless window mode).

Since then, not a single crash in about 8 hours of play :)

I suspect the games fps lock does some funny things to the power modes on our cards and from switching to the menu to the game, the voltage doesn't keep up with the clock quick enough sometimes causing a crash.

Vsync is icky though |:

You don't need the Ekimmara hide for a couple of the oils now either!

Bah, I had I think 3 or 4 recipes wanting them for ages. I got one very far into my playthrough but ultimately I barely used oils anyway. Outside hangmans venom which if I remembered or cared to apply it I really didn't need to nor care to.

I think I remember reading on the official forums that they wouldn't be fixing XP bug in terms of retroactively applying missed XP. So it sounds like they fixed the bug that caused it but have no intention of working out how to give you all the XP you missed.

It really doesn't matter unless this bug hit you at lvl 10 or something and you played through to almost the end game. It's easy and you spend most of the game playing severely out levelled content, I was making a joke before but seriously, missing a few levels will probably make the game at least a bit more of a challenge for most people.
