I have no doubt this simple expansion will be more enjoyable than any other game this year, Fallout 4 included.

I'm sure it will be great, and I have the expansion pass, bit I'm not sure I can muster the enthusiasm to play the game again tbh.

I was super sceptical about any of the expansions especially considering the fact that this first one could quite easily be considered DLC by many. After seeing it's price and what the story is going to be about I'm probably going to pick it up. This will probably give me some incentive to finish off the rest of the game too.

Hmm, I'm planning to do a clean install at the weekend so will have to install this again. Am I right in thinking I just need to backup the save game folder from my documents? Thee isn't anything ferreted away elsewhere regarding progress is there?

I did this last week, just saved the whole "The Witcher 3" folder in my docs and put it back and everything was as I left it

Witcher 3 1.10 patch will be a tiny 15GB download.

The change log is a 13 page PDF.

Can this be purchased on a USB drive or DVD as a download of this size is completely unrealistic for the many folk who still only have a slow broadband connection?

I reckon it would take me almost 15 hours to download!

When is this patch rolling out?

At that size, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a surreptitious pre-load of elements of the expansion pack.

The patch list is definitely super long, but this obviously also includes the DLC data no doubt(so when you purchase it, there's no extra download, it just unlocks).

144 hours in and I'm getting there!! Putting a real push in now but I still don't think I'll be finished in time for the expansions release.

But that's fine by me. Darn I love this game

Rather annoyingly you have to reset all your keys as patch resets to default
