The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Clouds look better, other than that it's really hard to see.

During the walking scene, I did notice that the rocks and branches didn't really have shadows and looks a little out of place.

I'm expecting Digital Foundry to post a vid today or tomorrow to break it down, which would be interesting.

Still underwhelmed, was hoping for more or a dramatic change, but kind of expected when using the same engine.
Digital Foundry will probably wait for the final version, there are some changes in lighting and better shadows as well as somewhat better textures.

End of the day it's a free upgrade that's a plus. If it was paid I'd be a bit disapointed with it, but then I'd just go down the mod route if it bothered me that much. Beats paying £15 like some did with Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

We're on a PC enthusiat forum it's hardly surprising it didn't meet expectations here.

I am also a K+M player with most games but just find the button mashing, dodging etc just feels better on controller. This and Elden Ring are the only games I preferred using a controller. Looking forward to another play through soon. One of my favourite games.

Looking forward to playing this again at Christmas as I haven't played it since it came out and I never touched the DLC either. Can't remember much of the story either which will be a bonus. Found another side by side video.

I want the update to include things I can do after the conclusion to blood and wine. I've got my lovely house, my lodger and I want to be able to interact more! Go off on missions together etc.

Basically more dlc missions!

I play this on console so looking forward to finally being able to play it at 60 fps.

Looks good from what I've seen, but I'm a little disappointed that they've changed the colours. I remember it having really saturated, vibrant colours but they appear to have turned these down.
