The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

We’ve released another hotfix for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC. It further improves the overall stability and introduces fixes to photo mode, Arabic language in the game, toxicity bug, Steam Deck and more. The game version won’t change.

Definitely not as frequent as that for me, but like yourself will give it a month or so see if it gets fixed before i start playing it again.
 
They actually managed to make the DX12 version heavily CPU limited, two threads are heavily loaded and the rest are barely being used. It is the same developer that released Cyberpunk so we shouldn't be too surprised they released it in this state.....
 
Just tried latest (second) hotfix.

Still 'hot' ***** and doesn't 'fix' anything. No difference in terms of performance. Still crashes to desktop after about 10mins.

Just read it on the forums too " Does not improve performance or CPU utilization "

At least they "Fixed the Arabic language" in the game though! I mean come on, that's the fix everyone has been waiting for isn't it! Never mind the game crashing every 5 ******* minutes eh.

I don't understand why they bothered to release this free update if they were going half arse it. All it does is give them very bad PR.

If it's crashing use the verify tool which is what it's for. It isn't the update causing the crashes, it's the download which became corrupted, verify fixes this.
 
Game hitches like mad and crashes to such an extent that I cant even play more than a few minutes of it!

The 'hitch' seems to get stuck then it crashes to desktop...

Well I just did the verify feature in manage installation (GOG version) and played for 40 minutes without a crash. That's a record! I need to test more obviously but I might owe you a beer lad!

Anyone else getting frequent crashes - do this and see how you get on....
