The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I literally just went there to that spot (after defeating the beast) yeah then fast travelled back to do side quests and things in the middle of the map :D

Is this fight in the Witcher?
It was released as a trailer for the game before it was released, but it actually makes story sense only after finishing Blood and Wine and takes place after it.

best video game trailer ever made - "A night to remember"

It really is brilliant. I get chills every time I watch it. I wish the books were adapted by CDP in this quality, in CGI, with voice actors from the games playing their characters.

Not like that netflix abomination.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to realise it but spatial audio is completely broken in the next gen version. If you're using dolby atmos turn it off.

I thought something was off - couldn't hear footsteps properly, ambience seemed quiet, there were next to no impact sounds in combat etc. Try it if your audio seems off.

Would have been nice to play this with the latest update.

Sadly it’s unplayable for me with max settings and RT enabled on a 4090 with 5950x. FPS is high but the stutter is the worst I’ve ever experienced in any game. Didn’t even leave the first room in the training area as it was horrific.

That’s weird. I’ve exactly the same spec and don’t experience any stutter outside of the first 2-3 seconds after fast travelling somewhere.

No stutter for me with a 12700K/3080 TIFE @ 3440x1440.

Max settings but no motion blur'vignette.

Are you using the latest drivers (528.02) - they made the game stuttery for me so I went back to the December drivers (527.56) and that fixed it.

running a 4090 and using everything at maximum settings with DLSS3 / frame gen

RT Fidelity

This mod aims to fix ray tracing and some last gen graphic options to offer the best visuals while not affecting the gameplay performance so much.

This mod fixes:
Completely fixes Ray tracing shadow pop in issue (with no performance cost)
Natural cutscene lighting
Characters self shadows fix and quality improvements (cube shadows)
Torch and lantern light shadows fix and quality improvements (spot shadows)
Local shadows fix (updated resolution to max)
Better ray tracing ambient occlusion
Better RT reflections and distance improvement
Better RT Lighting (indoors and outdoors)
Better motion blur

Nice one, going to give this a try. The RT shadows pop in is a huge annoyance for me at the mo.
Edit - Actually, reading the posts on that mod looks like it might introduce other issues and not totally fix stuff anyway. It's just a shed load of ini tweaks - Might have a look but don't think I'll bother as I'm working on my own.
