Apologies. You are absolutely correct. You can turn focus off from the in-game menu:)

They rushed through it on easy to get the review up quickly for page hits. It totally reminds me of the old Thief games (my fave games, love stealth genre) , just a bit easier, although with the custom game options you can make it as old school as you want.
I would advise people not to listen to the big outlet reviews and just buy it if you were thinking about it.
 
The hub is pretty decent once it opens up. It is quite large and there seems like plenty to explore. Imo though it would be improved 100% by having a few more open doors and maybe NPCs in houses to make exploring and stealing a little more of a challenge and more fun.

One other thing- no excuse for all these loading screens!

I was finding some of the audio a little quiet, mainly on voices I could barely hear a thing, but changing the mixing preset to headphones has sorted it out. Just thought I would post it in case anyone else was finding that.
 
Yay finally can unlock the game :D

Neil i got a 64 bit system, will it install a 64 bit version of the game be automatically downloaded? Might give the SweetFx a go too :)

It seems that I am hardly actually finding much extra stuff. I just spent 3 hours on the 3rd chapter area, and it says I found 1/5 collectibles and found 18/57 loot! I have also found a few side quests which are pretty cool.
 
I finally got off chapter 2 (looted pretty darn well) last night after a few tries of going ghost ....but without the wrench its tricky.. ended up being hybrid, taking out a few gaurds.

still liking this game quite a lot.
 
Just started playing this. Not sure why this got so many bad reviews? Seems pretty good upon first impressions. The stealth gameplay seems good.

Graphics aren't quite as good as I was expecting. "Next Gen" has been a massive disappointment so far. On the plus side it runs fantastically at 1080p maxed out on a single 670. Is SLI working yet? I have quite an old driver ( 331.82) so maybe I need a new driver for thief to use SLI?
