I'm loving the side missions for Basso! I did one just so I could buy an upgrade and ended up accepting all 11 and doing them all.

think ill be doing the basso missions before the story missions, if only to gather enough loot to get a few tools.

not played the earlier games but this one I'm well happy with.

That's an interesting link. I've not come across that website before. Is it just a collection of improvements made by amateur modders to improve the graphics of games?

I am still enjoying it. 7 hours so far, and I have done chapter 3 and 1 side mission(the skull one). I have just started another side mission as well

What are the Basso missions?...I have done a few side missions, but none from him. Didn't know about any, the two I have done have just come up from wandering around(the carnival guy in the Tavern and the mechanic guy)

I am also 7 hours in and really enjoying it. On chapter 5 now, I think I only done 1 side mission thus far.

Anyone having the error "Failed to contact key server"? From a bit of googling it's looking like they may have run out of keys, which I'm rather miffed about seeing as I've had the game pre-ordered since last year. :/

That might be a good idea, I played the first few story missions and a couple of side missions without the wrench so couldn't access some areas to gather all the loot, once you've completed the main objective of a mission I'm not sure if you can replay it. The Bank Heist can't be completed without the wrench tool, unless I'm missing something. (which I probably am!

I find my self struggling to have any motivation to play this.
I think I'm on chapter 5 at the dukes manor.

every level is boring and the world doesn't feel alive. all the stupid zones to get to your mission are annoying as hell.

this game would be great as an open world game like skyrim on a mini scale but as a corridor game it's bloody awful

metro last light has about the same level of exploration and freedom as this does...

everywhere looks pretty much the same as well which gets old fast

I have played for 3 hours and I am enjoying it so far, waaayyyy better than the reviews would have you believe IMO.

Hes the guy with the top hat in a cellar (i think) behind the tavern, pretty sure the main story mission takes you to him :confused:

Yes. I know who he is, but I didn't know he gave you any missions. The side missions I have done have been from people I have just found whilst exploring. I'll have to find him and do some!

Keys seem to be working again now! Just got mine

Its unplayable for me as the framerate is so juddery. My PC can run games such as Mass Effect 3, GW2 and Batman Arkham Origins at 1920x1200 but this doesn't want to play ball even at lower resolutions.

Quite stuttery on my 7990. My usual Radeon Pro fix doesn't work either - only with vsync on though. Like what I have seen so far though.

I still can't find Basso to do his jobs... I need some cash to afford the wrench tool!

Apparently the jobs that I have been doing are known as 'client jobs', so there must be a fair bit of extra stuff to do.

Edit- I think the game mentioned something about him not being there for some reason so I am sure he will turn up again.

Well the game is unplayable for me until I can find a way to get RadeonPro to apply its settings.
