You staying on the class one after stobart? What do you think about the firm helsby langdon, will be looking for a decent firm once I pass class one.

In my current Beer fuelled state, I can't recall them tbh.

probably staying on Artics, yes, tempted to jack in the driving and try something different with my redundancy re-training that I have, but as of yet, undecided.

To be fair to ESL, I've worked for a lot worse.....

Don't suppose your watching the Eddie Stobart Christmas Delivery doc on 5 are you?

I've been avoiding the film crews at various depots for the past 6 months, given my Christmas time redundancy, no, I can't say I'm too interested in watching it, its caused a lot of bad feeling within the ranks of trampers such as myself who are now under notice whilst the TV show continues to paint a pretty picture for the "fans", if the senior management concentrated a little more on the core of the business (i.e. logistics) instead of TV shows, Polo teams, Rally teams and selling Teddy bears, perhaps, things would (and should) be different.

Meh! Its their loss, not mine. :p

Jumper
Shirt
Coffee/Tea/Sugar pots (needed some for ages, and really decent set)
Utility pot thing matching the above
AFC Wimbledon scarf (but the discrete looking one which looks pretty smart)
frying pan :p
2 x bottles of wine

Pretty pleased really, I didnt really ask for much else apart from a PS3 mini keyboard. It's all stuff I'll use for a fair while at least and some of it for years.

A couple of nice shirts
A jumper
Socks
A cookbook
Battlefield 3
Some toothpaste (?!)
Some cash towards a skiing holiday

And, best of all, a ridiculously large meal.

Then I suggest you donate that hamper to someone less fortunate than yourself, there are plenty of charities, like the Trussel Trust who woukd be able to help you mae sure it went to someone who needed it more than you.

Every year my Girlfriend and I personally volunteer at 2 different local old peoples homes. We put up decorations in individual rooms, supply small gifts and visit the elderly who's family have forgotten about them. The smiles and genuine happiness we experience make every second worth while.

Also, as a business we collect toys for kids who go without, we have done this for the past 5 years.

I feel I do my part. Thank you for your suggestion though.

[notserious]I don't think you are doing enough....frankly it disgusting that you don't give everything to those less fortunate.....I certainy hope you don't profit from the misery of those children either, putting your salaries back into the business and all.....:p[/notserious]

See the point yet?

Don't judge others simply because they have nice things, you do not know them or what they do. Enjoying the fruits of your labour is not disgusting or something to be ashamed of....and making people feel guilty for giving or recieving nice things is wrong.

Oh, and for he person asking if beats are any good...

The ones that use batteries are. The others, however, are nowhere near as good as these new panasonic ones that I have :D

Are most of them poor then? I've wondered this as there seems be be some rage about them but I have never seen any proper reviews, or any tech specs on the box for that matter..?

Not a bad haul this year :)

Various Xmas type stuff, but this is my favourite present of all time.

9 handmade mini surfboards, "through the years" showing the evolution in a display case. The detail on each board is phenomenal.
It's not entirely finished, as I need to have a brass sign made "Through the years" and each surfboard's specifications below redone in brass or some sort of plaque, but I couldn't be happier :D

That is my other stuff, also got a smurf t shirt and some crocodile slippers too.

:)

I got:

A wallet
Cave Story 3DS
Mario Kart 3DS
A recipe book for slow cooking
£40 cash

Mario Kart 3DS is immense, seriously. Lost so much time to playing it when I'm supposed to be sleeping due to playing it in bed :D

My girlfriend who doesn't play games at all also enjoys playing it so if you are already a gamer, your doomed :D
