Turned up for a meeting this morning and they were off "sick" as their dog died. I kid you not.

There was some news recently where a girl was sacked for taking a day off due to her pet dying.

Just managed to get 138 into a cardboard box about 30cm long. (And still room for more) I still have some box sets I need to decide what to do with I.e. leave or put in the sleeves with no cover but have already saved so much space!!

It was REALLY good! 10/10. Initially fairly scary too as they had you climbing with barely any footrests over some fairly intimidating drops - I’m not really scared of heights but I admit did panic a couple of times. At one point, travelling left over a ~30m drop there was nowhere to put my right foot (probably a result of me being a terrible climber) and my left foot was on a tiny little peg, so I sort of had to ‘hop’ from one foot to the other on the peg to change my feet. Even with the safety equipment it felt pretty hairy... and there were definitely less safety straps than something like ‘Go Ape’. You don’t need to be ‘a climber’ or particularly fit but absolutely no way could anyone do it that wasn’t an ‘adventurous’ person.
Was about 6 hours in the mine itself with nothing but the light from our headlamps. Loads of zip wires and a freefall drop (from a ‘free fall’ machine). Honestly, it was one of the best things I’ve done in ages. Definitely recommended.
Wasn’t always appropriate to whip out the smart phone but these should give you some idea

We get a 2Gb WiFi voucher every 2 weeks on here, which is pretty much our only tenuous link to the outside world when we’re at sea. Yet somehow, with 3 days of the last 2 week period to go, I’d managed to save up a reserve of 800mb for slack periods....

So I read you can colour your hair with coffee. Tried it earlier but didn't work (predictably) my hair now smells of coffee though
