Sourcing?
Shopping basically. My laptop bag broke in spectacular fashion the other day and ended up nearly being very very expensive.

Therefore I want a GoRuck GR1, but I need someone in the US to lie on customs forms so I don't get stung with £££ bill.

There isn't a single UK distributor of either GoRuck or Aer stuff which makes me sad.

I used ShipItTo a while back to buy a load of stuff from the states. For a few dollars they'll open the original parcel, remove and invoices, pricing and packaging and fill the customs declaration however you want.

Ended up saving quite a bit on the shipping and customs fees as I had them combine 3 separate packages inside the states into one to be sent here

How can that be legal? :p

A friend of mine is looking to 'source' office space and finance staff (and obviously all office fitout, etc) in the uk in the next 6 months to profit from the eu if Britain does brexit. I pointed him at Lloyds last month re. insurance.

Last day of having the kids with us (Wahoo!) :D

Think it's safe to say I'll be pretty much sleeping on Saturday after this week :o:p

Now to get ready and convince my mum that we should have an early dinner today at Smith and Western

What a ******* day...

Apprentice manages to snap the shear pin in the gearbox of a 36 inch valve...
Question 2 hour job taking 10 hours and rebuilding a year in a confined space.

So need a drink

Just got in from working a bit late as I'm on leave next week and was preparing. Now got to make pasta dough for ravioli. Took me 2 hours for one small plate of food last night. Practising things is boring and long.

Feel your pain. Once had a numpty of a newly qualified 4th engineer do that by using an 18 inch long wheel key on the gearbox of a butterfly valve. Oh, and he had a habit of running centrifugal pumps with their discharge valves closed. Which isn’t a problem at initial startup, but becomes one when left like that overnight.
