I'm with @Ninco! here with making an effort for Xmas. PJs are for bed, not to wear when eating Xmas dinner. Even when I'm off work sick with chest infections, severe colds and recovering from surgery, I get dressed into baggy hoodies and joggers.

I have a few Xmas jumpers, which I wear for work in December. Any excuse to wear something thicker than our uniform in the freezing cold supermarket. I tend to buy men's jumpers as thicker, longer and higher on the neck.

Yeah it was, obviously we weren't in the actual theatre as he plopped out, that would be weird, but we were right there when the Mother first got the baby handed to her - freshly wrapped like a little cotton grub. Think it was the most careful I've pushed one of those damn hospital beds. I usually get a move on, but being my first time with a newborn I was slightly wary about even the slightest bump.

Was cleaning a razor blade today and it randomly slipped slicing the top layer of skin on my thumb! Only the skin layer above the main skin so no actual cut. So close to slicing thumb open :eek:

Thinking about my colleague today. It’s her mum’s funeral today. 4 weeks after her death. Earlier this year, she lost her husband with a brain tumour. As he’s Turkish and Muslim, he was buried within 24 hours.

My colleague is finding the gap between death and funeral of her mum too much. This was the earliest date she could get! Ridiculous especially when Leicestershire had two new crematoriums opened in past 8 years

Jehovah's Witnesses. How many people have 'signed' up to their religion doing door to door or stand outside?

There's a JW group that stands outside one of the empty units near my work for 7 hours a day.
 
A woman has just crashed her car outside and blocked the road.

I’ve got a parcel coming, hope it’s not delayed.

Why are people putting their Xmas tree and decs early? All it does is to make people say "I'm fed up of the decorations" by mid Dec. I usually put mine up around 10th Dec

Similarly i saw someone in the road the other day with people around checking they were ok, the first thought in my head was "Glad i'm not stuck in that traffic"

Glad i'm not the only one!
