Supposed to have been going home today, as my 3 months on this floating dumpster fire of a ship were up on the 16th. However, the office have managed to make a mess of getting my relief out here, again. Now we’re headed back to the Gulf via the Suez Canal, where I’m essentially at their mercy as I need them to arrange visas etc if I want to go home, meaning they can essentially trap me on here.

We’ve just left a port in the Baltic, stopping off in Denmark tomorrow to pick up stores and allow some of the ratings to sign off and new ones to join. I’m seriously tempted to just follow them down onto the launch, and make my own way home. Being a Schengen state, I don’t need a visa to enter Denmark for upto 90 days. I’ve never just walked out on an employer before, but time and time again this happens, and frankly, I’ve reached my limit.

Mods are in an all day Zoom meeting (lols), here's a picture of me playing with my nipple:

Are the mods discussing whether or not their porn forum should contain more diverse material to allow others to feel more included?

Absolutely chaotic day in work preparing for the Royal Mail strikes tomorrow and Friday - it'll be a shame to see RM go, but the staff are bringing it onto themselves.
They've been circling the drain for some time but all this chaos will just push businesses away.

Just learned that a guy in the year below me from school, died a few weeks ago.

He was just 40 and it was a heart attack.
I’m 41 and know 5 of my year group died. One with cancer (32 years old), two car accidents (mid 30s) and one suicide (34 years old). Unsure of the fifth’s death.

A girl in my year had her first child aged 17 and he died of cancer aged 16. He had a leg amputated and cancer spread to his heart.

A lad in the year below me complained of a severe headache and went to the sick bay. Receptionist who rang his mum to collect him, popped her head round to update him with mum collecting him, found him slumped in the chair. He died of a stroke. Aged 12! The sick bay was moved to another location as no one wanted to go in there after a pupil died there.

In year below me - three suicides (hanging, hit by train and drug overdose) plus two with asthma attacks.

Exactly. Companies will use couriers or customers will pay a couple of quid for delivery by courier.

Lost faith in RM years ago. Fed up of getting mail for properties of the same house number as me but for a different street! I either hand deliver mail if nearby or post mail into post box.

Unfortunately many people just bin wrongly delivered mail. Which is wrong. My parents had a large envelope posted to them for the next street along. We’re on holiday at the time and I took the envelope to address. Couple were on the driveway and explained what happened. Contents of envelope- their updated wills!

A mate at school was fine thursday, was taken to hospital friday and died that weekend due to meningitis.
It was the first time we (both boys and girls) spent time together discussing and supporting each other to come to terms with it. School didn’t do much themselves.

My school didn't do much when the lad died with a stroke. I didn't know him personally but the shock was still there when I left the school over a year later. Saw one of his mates a few years ago and his son's middle names are his late mate's.

Think schools need to improve this as children don't expect their mates to die when they are school age.

Baffling how complicated my dad makes things. My mum and dad had a fake wicker type table in Spain, however my mum tripped and fell through the top and broke it all (luckily it didn't have the glass top at the time!) I said i had some Birch Ply at home and could make them a replacement top for the glass to sit on if they gave me the measurements as they're home soon.

My dads just emailed saying he's bought a roll of paper to make a template of the table.

It's bloody rectangular, a simple length/width would be sufficient, and probably more accurate!
