I really want some Sashimi or Sushi right now, but there is nowhere even remotely local which serves it to a standard which won't cause food poisoning or death. :(
 
I don't live out in the sticks, I suppose there must be somewhere good in Brighton... Thats only like 10 miles away. :p

I'm only doing it 'casually' buying one coin at a time and selling bits here and there. I think I've made around £450~ this year. Could easily make loads more if I bought two, three, perhaps even ten times as much at once, but I still find it too risky to do that in case it crashes overnight and I lose a lot of money.

Renewing passport. Got a letter today saying I had missed the delivery (duh, I was at work!) and that I needed to rearrange. Fair enough.

Earliest date for redelivery... 18th of April!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! What kind of courier is that? And why send a letter instead of popping a card through the door? The letter is dated from 2 days ago!

Well if it's a courier then re-delivery on a Saturday is not offered by default unless you pay more so if you missed the cutoff for tomorrows delivery then yes the 18th is the next working day 'cos bank holidays ...
 
15 minutes before the end of shift one of my lads went and slammed a gate lock shut on his hand, 3 hours in A and E later and its broken but hes got to go back tomorrow. Bloody typical! Got to share the waiting room with a young attractive girl, only downside was she vomited constantly and was doubled over in pain. A slight distraction from BBC news rolling at 3am. Both of us now know quite a lot about Venezuela.
