** This Instant, Moment, and Month - April 2017 **

USPS stuffed up a delivery to me. Hooray. They claim to have delivered it to me at 7:38AM... I don't think so somehow... I was in, the doorbell didn't go, nobody knocked on the door, nobody left me a message on the provided number, nobody rang, nobody left a note, I don't recall a van turning up outside, and theres no package under the gate or in any other likely locations...

Just marked it delivered without coming anywhere near my house...

Really, no big deal. Its only a very rare £200 item which I bought from America, really, don't ******* worry!!!

We have a cupboard right next to our front door where we keep our bin bags. Couriers keep leaving items on top of the bin bags and ignoring the shelf that's about chest height with nothing on. It's not like these items are too heavy to lift up there either.

This morning has gone so slow I'm worried if time will go backwards in the afternoon. I think I've said the phrase 'if you don't like it, ask the developer to change it' a million times this week, starting to lose the will to live over it.

Went to the local governing house to register our intent to marry and book the registrar. With my birth certificate translation and certification plus the document I am about €300 lighter.

Whats funny is that legally we needed a witness who isn't a member of the family or relation and is fluent in both Portuguese and English, just in case I am being tricked into something :p

The funnier part, is that the official document was made up they gave to ME to read and confirm, despite it being 100% in Portuguese....

riiiighht

Ah well, no turning back now :D

Just good that I could read and under 90% of the document then eh :p

Also, the woman behind the counter didn't speak English. So for all intents purposes, the translator/witness could have been telling me ANYTHING, and she wouldn't have known.

Looks like you could've put under 10% more effort into that post. :p

My mum seems to love having a pointless disagreement right before I'm about to go to sleep so now I'm wide awake and stressing.

It's times like these I wish I could have a drink...and know how to do plumbing..and fix the thermostat so we can have hot water again...and learn to switch off and not stress so much :o
