Are you sure? Why else would you speak to a woman? :p I've been on a few nights out with them now since relationship changes while some are good some end with them getting with girls and me standing in the corner like a lemon. Combined with my previously mentioned drink problem I'm usually sober by the end of the night and drunk people aren't good conversation partners. :p

I get where you're coming from. Last time I went out with the girls from work to a club I was with someone but they were all single. Most of the night was spent with them spotting a fit bloke and then wanting to follow him  it got to about 10pm and I was bored (and that's when I was still drinking alcohol :p)

Fun night. 10 Acmes/10. Would read again. :D

10 Acmes / 10 is still about 2 / 10. I'm the most socially awkward creature on the planet. 90% of my interaction with people is through here.

One visit to the hospital, an inflammed stomach and a stack of pills later. And I'm back at work!

Last day tomorrow! Thank god!

Really ****** off today, I work for an IT company and I'm booked out to do UAT testing all day today. I'm not talking to anyone else in the office, I'm not using the phone systems, I generally just don't need to be in the office, I could do it from home.

I got up 30 minutes early to ask the question, and was told no, with no reasoning whatsoever.

So I'm effectively wasting about an hour of my life and £5 of petrol so I can sit in a much less comfortable chair surrounded by miserable people.

The mind boggles... I don't think anyone at this company is capable of making logical or rational decisions... Meanwhile the managers seem to come and go as they please, and work from home whenever they feel like it...

Oooh potential job for a 4 day week where I used to work, rate is higher so I'd be on a bit more money and 15 hours less work per week. Also 7 hours a week less travel.

This storm Doris which the BBC weather advised us would be akin to Armageddon has proved thoroughly disappointing so far up here in Edinburgh with little more than a bit of wind and rain.
I was so looking forward to taking my cat Millie for her early morning walk in virgin snow but instead all I got was rain which she will not go out in.

Oh God, another cat walking weirdo.

Have finished off what work I needed to do before I go. I just need to do a write up of a project I've been working on which will remain unfinished. Boredom ahead now!

Walking a cat?

Our neighbour has a PTMP Wireless system set up and all their poles seem to be bending and failing - Quite interesting to watch :p

Our neighbour has a PQZTB motor actuator on top of a warbling flange, and the photon neutralisers are all nibbling at the squeebles. Quite interesting to watch.

^ Thats all I read. :p
