This is why people are losing respect for the police...

Whatever the reasons for the continuing violence needs to stop.

They are playing into the hands of people they claim to be against.

There as always been hot heads. I remember back in the day I tried to talk a guy out of attacking a Mosque. He appeared to listen and nothing happened.

Then a few months later I heard on the grapevine that he did it. The Mosque had full CCTV coverage so he was soon arrested.

The guy had a terminal illness too. I think some people get so focused on an issue and don't know how to express it properly so they go full negative.

Tweet isn’t true though the airport thugs were arrested and then released on bail, but as is always the way twitter won’t let the facts get in the way of a few likes/shares etc

It is also funny to see those saying that the lad at the airport ‘got what he deserved’ then basically supporting the EDL thugs throwing bricks at the police. Nothing like a good old double standard!

What have they been charged with?

Struggling to see anyone supporting the EDL lot for throwing bricks at the police. In fact I've mostly seen people calling them tossers.

I'm not sure how a bunch of knuckle-dragging far-right racists and xenophobes using the tragic loss of children's lives to stir up division and racial / religious hatred so they could riot, causing disruption, damage and show a total lack of respect for the grieving families has ever been "a long while coming"
Cor blimey, must be lefty bingo happening.

Cor blimey, must be lefty bingo happening.

So how would you describe a bunch of low-life's that travelled across the country to use the death of 3 children as an excuse to kick off and cause a riot?

There is nothing "lefty" about recognizing that these people are the dregs of society, lacking the braincells to rub together for warmth.

In this day and age I don't think mistakes would be made, you would have dna evidence, it wouldn't just be on a whim.

Have you been sleeping under a rock? How is it you have access to the internet and aren't familiar with the Post Office scandal, Stephen Lawrence, Spy Cops, Hillsborough, Sarah Everard, de Menezes, Iraq II.

How sweet a naïve you must be to trust the government so much. I genuinely envy you, but I think you have just lost all credibility in matters of the real world.

"all the tropes"

You mean the truth?

They are hardly going to be "lefties" out there rioting about "immigrants" and "muslims" and attacking mosque's while using the death of 3 children as an excuse for their BS, is it?

That's because they would be too busy hiding away and covering up the mass rape of white children by Pakistani gangs. If you're gonna throw stones and all that...

LBC hyping the issue up by asking "Should anti terror laws be used on the rioters or do you agree with the rioters?"

Err, you can be against using anti terror laws AND be against the rioters.

The standard of the so called MSM isn't that far off reddit and twitter with provocative messaging.

Since when do the government sentence people, I think you've just lost all credibility of critical thinking.

Do you think they'd have been bailed if there wasn't a baying mob outside the station threatening to tear the town apart if they weren't released?

I personally think the cops were justified in their actions at the airport. I also don't condone the violence in Southport however let's face facts from very recent history:

Harehills - Roma Community - Violent disorder demanding the return of the rightfully removed kids - Authority capitulates and returns kids

Rochdale - Muslim community threatens mass violence over the Manchester 2's rightful arrest - Authority capitulates and bails the pair, without charge

So in the face of that you'd be forgiven for thinking that the only way to be heard by authorities currently, is to be violent en masse.

The thing is they should not have been released, the video of them attacking the police is disgusting. Can assure you if it was someone who looked like an EDL type they'd be on remand which is kinda why people are angry. So while the rioting is mostly outsiders trying to whip up trouble and destabilise the country I can't deny there is a lot of anger out there amongst the general population and if the authorities continue to ignore it at some point things will kick off much worse.

Suspect the police are using the same laws that some on here are cheering about being used on JSO protestors, you know the one about having to seek permission to demonstrate.
Yeah I suspect ;) that the thug team last night didn't have permission to hold their protest there at all so after being asked to move on they got the same treatment, arrest to remove them and then de-arrest at another location.

Whats good enough for one load of gormless morons is good enough for all the gormless morons.

But it's not being applied equally to all "gormless morons" which is people's point.
