I haven’t really followed it, but have read a bit here and there. They where in a toxic relationship and treated each other badly. I hope he gets to rebuild his career after this. I also hope that this leads to more conversation that men can be the victims of domestic abuse.

She regrets getting caught out and nothing more. People like this are mentally ill and have no regret or empathy or understanding of consequences from their actions.
Apart from JD doesn't physically abuse women. And AH has admitted to hitting him.
Yet.. sure, both as bad as each other.
It's that type of view that makes men guilty no matter the evidence.
I'm not on about the physical side of things, I'm on about they both dont seem level in the head department. Both of them seem to have anger issues and both of them seem toxic.
If anything she's lucky she was in a relationship with someone that wouldn't hit her. After listening to some of her shenanigans most other men probably would have separated her head from her shoulders given a few months of it.
The recording of Depp and the cupboards at the end when she retrieves the phone from the drawer he put it in you can see her smiling and sounds like a laugh as the recording ends.
Hopefully this trial buries her and makes her totally unemployable, just seems to be a devious little rodent engaged in mind games.

I knew someone just like her, she would film her partner just in the hope she would catch him doing something stupid.
She would then use that to manipulate him into doing things, eventually she slipped up and was caught out. Even then she wouldn't admit to doing wrong, even with the evidence.

The recording which have just played (watching live) are pretty damning to AH however and just shows how manipulative she is. Johnny gave good answers and it all just painted AH in a very bad light and proves she is an abuser. I wonder what will happen when she takes the stand? I hope she breaks down.
I only have an interest in this in regards to a man being proven as a victim of abuse from a woman and what that means going forward as its largely pushed aside.

Johnny is the sort of person that wouldn't take the money, probably donate it to a domestic abuse charity. Of course the money he would subsequently win through legal cases against Disney would more than make up for his loss of earnings.
Probably not expecting any of it, its about clearing his name.
Having listened in to parts, its obvious they both have serious issues, but it certainly seems like Johnny has been the larger victim here.

She's getting absolutely eviscerated in court and it's rightly deserved. She's evil, emotionally and physically abusing him and latching on to the me too movement to discredit him and pretend she was the victim. the UK case against The Sun was a ****show from the start and i knew as soon as i found out the judge for that case and his family had connections to both Heard and Murdoch that she was lying.

Testimony from the butler is damning for her, in the time he served them he only ever witnessed her drinking alcohol never Depp. She would consume 1-2 bottles a day which basically makes her an alcoholic. Wondering if that footage she recorded with Johnny slamming the cupboard doors was more because she was annoyed he had drank her wine!
Must admit, I wouldnt want to live with or be in a relationship with either of them.
At this point in time I've no idea who will come out on top in this case, you can just never tell how these things will go in the end. Half the time with these things you're more accurate by flipping a coin as to what the judgement will be.
