Thunderstorms - 2023!

Getting a massive continuous lightning show south of Guildford, little thunder but you can see the arcs of loghtling - even took some 4K 60Hz video it’s so regular.

No lightning here so far but been torrential rain and floods.

The lighting map at the moment is looking almost apocalyptic for the south coast between Poole and Brighton.

Yep,.like someone flicking a light switch on / off constantly. Some fork and maybe sheet lightning but could be forks out of sight as it's overhead. Not much thunder, mainly constant rumbling and heavy rain.

Not so intense now. Lasted about 20 mins with the wild flashing. Looks as though it might have moved towards Brighton / sea.

Just randomly all over the place according to the lighting map.

Can hear it quite loudly where I am despite so far being bracketed by it on 3 sides at ~10-12 miles.

Had a very large rumble and torrential downpour here on the last 15mims. Looks like in in the firing line for the bulk of it

Edit: just as I typed, multiple flashes and a rumble shaking the building!
