We do collectively have a say on the pricing, everyone votes with their wallet. If enough people vote to reject overpriced cards then the prices will come down, if enough people vote to buy them then prices stay overpriced.It's almost like you think you have a say on the pricing

I'll 2nd that on my Red Devil XTXH it would get to 105/106c on Time Spy with LM on it was around 85c. Much less in games.

Better of sticking with the 6700XT... a 6900XT isn't going to make much difference apart from a small bump in FPS and then that depends on your monitor to make use of those extra frames.

At this point It just doesn't seem prudent to spend over £600 given the Radeon 7900 xtx/xt's & Nvidia's 4070 variants are just a few weeks away. Sure they will inevitably be a bit more but if said person has over £600 to spend on a gfx card. They more than likely can stretch a bit, for a way better next gen card. Hell! you've waited this long. The mind boggles.

£999 seems to be the forecast but that’s a minimum possible price. If this is going against the 4080 then it’s going to be priced towards that minus a bit but then do they want to be near that dead zone that people just throw more down to get a 4090? Sense says to keep it away but nothing makes sense with the prices at the moment.
Add 20% vat and other add-ons, exchange rate to your 999 pal and you get to £1300. Just below the 4080 price

get rid of that old stock ...lol .. when the 7000 series launch the price of the 6000 will drop even lower .. as you will have a secondhand market to deal with as well .. and then the refresh of the 7900 cards in feb /march will drop even lower ..

Retailers buy in usd, MSRP is $1000 for XTX reference model, price should be at or slightly below a £1000 at current exchange rate, still too much IMO.
I game at 1440p ultrawide and sometimes 4k. From benchmarks, the 6900xt should give me about 50% more frames than my current 6700xt, the itch is strong at the moment. lol

Not saying they wont be priced at £1300 because as we know retailers like to take the mickey as much as AMD and Nvidia but you you've worked that out completely wrong.
$999.99 at the current exchange rate plus 20% for VAT comes to £986.59. So £999.999 for reference model cards should be possible.

That’s with VAT already but yes they will throw stuff on top just because. I think it would be dangerous to go over £1100. It may suffer the same issue as the 4080 or ironically start resulting in people buying the 4080 instead so having the same effect that the 4080 is having on the 4090.

Very tempted by this offer but I don't think my 750 P2 would be upto the task, I read elsewhere you need 1000w psu for this.
Also is this on a 2 year warranty like the previous Asrock deal?

I ran a reference 6950xt on an sfx 750w psu…admittedly they had a limit of around 350w.
I think the 1000w PSU recommendation is for people looking to clock the hell out of it in which case that will be needed. A good 850w, even 750w PSU should be fine as long as other components are not pulling too much juice.
