I actually have the game but have only played single player for odd reasons. I played TF1 MP with a couple of friends as we always do co-op stuff together and progress together (hundreds of hours on BL2! :) ). They don't have TF2 but were planning to at some point so I held off trying the multiplayer so I didn't "get ahead". Now I'm wondering if it's even worth recommending they get it or if the servers are emptying and it's hard to find games and/or it'll have limited lifespan?

It depends on the game mode tbh, the less popular ones will obviously have a wait time to find people to play against.
but in all my time playing i can honestly say ive never waited more than 30 seconds to find a match

best thing would be to jump on and play a few games yourself, you wont get too far ahead by just playing a few and you will get a better idea of how populated the game is
 
Ive never had issues getting a game. But I only play Amped Hardpoint really so I wouldnt know :D
 
Agree with above, haven't had an major issues getting into a multiplayer game, had to wait a minute or two at max depending on the game mode and time of day.
 
picked this up in the sales. but having hard time playing it due to memory leak
no matter my settings high - low - no xfire

anyone else having memory leak problems ?
 
do I buy this today or not? mmmmmm, I have quite a few fps games and not sure if this is going to be fun or not lol thing I hated most about the first one was the bots in multiplayer and not sure if I will like it in this, that and I was utter crap on it haha

There is bots in this one too but they add a bit more action to the games
and i was the same with the first, but for some reason on this one i can play a lot better

really, ahh cool, would you people say this is a good fps game? is it optimised well? and are there many people still playing online?

I have it in my basket but not sure wether to hit checkout yet lol
 
Excellent game which plays well and generally no issues finding a game unless I'm drunk at 3am... which is probably for the best anyway. That's on the London DC.
 
how/where do I get the facebook discount from please? decided I'm going to bite the bullet and buy it :)

right ive bought the game and had a quick blast on both story and multiplayer, the story mode seemed like it could be quite good which is surprising but the multiplayer...wow... I was getting MASSIVE stutter where I could hardly move for 2 seconds! my frames dropped massively in one part but even when I was getting good frames like above 70fps I was still stuttering bad and I have gsync!

does anyone know what the problem may be? I'm on the newest NVidia drivers, could it be lag? I'm going to try another online game in a mo to see if it happens again but even when getting good frames It was a stutter fest for me :(
