game does look graphically. some engine debates do get tedius. might be source in name but does it look like a early source game ? nope.

I wouldn't say it looks stunning its behind the curve like TF1 but like TF1 i hope it make it up with some epic gameplay

Yea tf|1 was rather ugly imo at its time, but made up for it in gameplay and this is said to do the same, plays really nice. Bare in mind reviews such as pc gamer still dont have access to pc code but have played it at preview events etc

On the positive side, TF1 was never a graphically ground braking game but I found it ran really smoothly on current hardware at the time.

I'm hoping TF2 will offer a similar experience. It is fighting quite a hard battle though with BF1, COD and TF2 all at the same time.... very similar target audience for all 3.

It's based on the source engine, but it's obviously moved on a lot since Half-Life 2

Same as COD still has elements of id Tech3...

Okay, played for an hour looks great and campaign is fun.

Installed new nVidia drivers, cannot select a higher resolution above 1920*1080 grrr .. will mess about more. It runs silky smooth maxed out at this screen res btw.

So is the No Season Pass thing going to be a big Publicity stunt? As I am shocked that EA are letting this happen if all content/DLC is free.
