most likely, my form on monday was shocking. Think I'm gonna drop down to 50 again tonight and work on form again. Think my heel pain might be plantar fasciitis so hopefully dropping the weight will help resolve that too.
 
right, due to an ankle injury it looks like any progress here will have to be put on hold for at least a month, probably closer to two. I'll make up for my failure to squat 80kg by the end of july with (in)appropriate gifs in due course.
 
Managed to completely jaff the tendons in my ankle. Not sure how long it'll take to recover but I've got one of those big black boots on for another month or so...
 
Well I'm still walking about so I should be ok, might need to start SL from scratch again when i get back in the gym. Definitely for squats and DL, bench should be ok with just a slight drop. plenty of time to figure it out though!
 
Right, ankle is better (mostly) now, gonna see if I can get back into the gym soon. Think I'll lay off squats and deads for a bit until my ankle is 100% but that just gives me more time to bench/curl/row :D
 
Finally managed to get back in the gym for a Stronglifts routine, having been a couple of times doing bench/curls/pushdowns to get back in the swing of it. Halved the weights I had been lifting previously seeing as it's been so long...

Are you finding it easier than the first time round to cycle up through the weights each week?

I'm on week 5 of strong lifts myself (1st time) and reading your earlier comments on the OHP makes me worry about the weeks to come :D
 
I'm not sure I'd say easier, I think being more familiar with what I'm doing is helpful though. OHP is always a bitch so I'll probably stall on that soon :P
