Toasteh does StrongLifts

I hit a wall at 72.5kg with squats. Deloaded to 65KG to focus on form. Adopted a slightly wider stance. A few weeks on and I've just hit 5x5 77.5Kg.

Mental keys for me that help are weight on side/heel of foot, knees out, chest and ass out of the hole at the same time.

tempted to skip squats tonight, knackered and my ankle's doing funny things.

On a vaguely related note, weight is now 81kg up from 78ish when I started, no sign of the podge on my stomach disappearing which is annoying but I'm hoping it's muscle mass...?
 
Started using myfitnesspal to log what I eat and see where I need to make changes. It's suggesting 1700 calories a day to drop down to 78kg again, I'll see how far over that I am currently...

On an aside, tracking with MFP seems to be alright, only problem is when mum does the cooking and makes up the recipe as she goes along, not easy to guess how much of what is in things :/

dropped the weight on these after the struggle on sunday and my ankle was really sore. same one i injured last year so didnt want to push it too much and make it go pop.

as an aside, how many calories do you reckon a stronglifts session burns? MFP doesnt recognise weights as burning calories :(

Because it's too busy worrying about the lack of cardio, amirite?

Google "energy use squatting" and have a gander. However, technique, bodymass, etc. all affect the absolute values (anybody can work out the energy required to squat a weight in terms of 'work done' or whatever)....
