** TODAY ONLY: GTX 1070 DELIVERED FOR £359.99 Inc. VAT !! **

I know :( ..and all forecasts predicted 1.55+ if we voted to remain so you probably could have done even more .

I thought remain would win so was seriously expecting these to start nearer the £300 mark. Nevermind !

I guess you have to be pretty careful now, what with the pound being so fragile at the moment.

If it was 1.55, we'd be a good 20% lower, could even see £299 a possibility on a 1070, oh well we can live and dream.

I was going to order a full exhaust system for the car from Australia due to how strong GBP was against the AUD, but now its looking at £300 or so more expensive due to Brexit vote causing GBP to weaken so much against pretty much every currency on the planet. Still going to order it though haha, and just moan a lot about it costing me a few hundred quid more.

If rate was as pre-brexit, 1.45 we'd be able to go a further 10-12% lower. :(

Yep. Sadly higher priced goods suffer the most due to the nature of a weaker exchange rate. No denying team Green was hit hardest by Brexit. The reality is Nvidia gives you incredible performance at great prices.

:)

Doesn't really need replacing but might as well give a 1070 a whirl at that price.

Good luck with your purchase :)

I decided to take advantage of the deal as well. Upgrading from a 290, so about the same jump in performance.

Mainly doing it because of VR. Have an oculus rift and want to try it out properly before I give up on VR until the next gen.

You paid £430 for your GPU. Were it not for Brexit you would have paid £50 (12%) less.

£380 for a top tier 1070. Great price for the performance.

Well done Nvidia.

I paid a lot less than that I assure you and I did not feel like it was a great price. It was a great price relatively to what other places were selling at sure, but not overall IMO.

For me a "great price" for a 16nm card that has new architecture at this performance would have to be around £250. £300 would be a decent price. But yeah, not all Nvidia's fault, our currency is just week right now. I miss the days where is was $2=£1 :(

I shame I just bought a 1070 for £20 more but still, good to see the occasional deal surface to make it a bit easier to swallow!

I was lucky and sold my 970 for £170 locally and hope I can shift an old iPad mini too... Got to ease the damage on my credit card.

I'm definitely tempted but will hold off until I've finished my new man cave .

Hopefully this is an indication that there could be other deals / lower pricing for a card on my shortlist in the coming months...

don't count on that. if you see a price you like, just buy it. Waiting for prices to come down hasn't worked at all for us lately.

This is a tempting price for a 1070 for sure. Myself I'm still swaying towards the Zotac AMP with the 5 year warranty, seeing as my old card will get passed down to my son's and then onto my wife's machines. I mean she is using a NVidia 260 and my son a 750ti, because I stupidly sold my previous 670.

Very very tempting, but only 2 years warranty, oh decisions decisions.

Great price, just go for the cheaper one, don't think there will be that much in any of them tbh...

but that AMP, convince yourself it's for the extended warranty....:D

Only £60 overpriced, This is still 10% over the 10% that brexit is supposed to to have caused for high prices, Too rich for me.

Hope you all enjoy your new cards though.
