Today's mass shooting in the US

The unhinged reactions being weirdos shooting up beer cans because a trans person is involved in advertising them ?

Amazing how they won’t drink it because of trans advertising and not because it’s watered down pee in a can.

Wannabe alpha Americans and their love of dreadful weak beers never stops be funny
Yes the fact that he owns a machine gun and is so offended by an advert

Apparently, that same person is not only selling sports bras for Nike, but has promoted Tampax as well.

You really couldn’t make this **** up. I already feel sympathy for any future historians looking back at the last few decades.

Yep, mildly amusing they are taken seriously enough by the cognitively challenged Biden, just smile and wave, smile and wave!

What amazes me is they go out and buy the product and then film themselves shooting/burning it. It is amazing. And who the hell buys Bud Light anyway? Regular Bud is like watered down beer already, Bud Light must be like fizzy water with hint of beer flavour.

There's just so much anger and rage, Americans have become so incredibly sensitive and delicate - they get whipped up into an unhinged frenzy at the drop of a hat.

It's such a mentally, physically, and emotionally broken country at the moment.

Banning guns is a pointless discussion,

Talking about accessible free health care and mental health support, is a pointless discussion

Talking about supporting people who are struggling, is a pointless discussion

The whole country is ill.

When your brand is associated with a certain demographic and that demographic doesn't believe in the trans nonsense then what do you expect to happen? It's a **** up by Budweiser on a Gillette scale. Anyway, it's not relevant to the topic.

People to not buy the beer...

No sane person expects someone to take an MP5 or whatever to a bunch of beers lol
What relevance is that to the thread? If you really want to start with the social media posts of people acting a bit nutty then lets go! I guarantee you that you'll run out of **** before I'm even 1/4 of the way through though :D

Agreed. The entire country is broken and there's no way to fix it because the core of the problem is embedded deep in the American psyche.

By "children" it means 1-19 years old.

No, by 'children' it means under the age of majority, which is 18 in most states. What exactly is misleading about the infographic?

The number of people killed also includes suicide which makes up the majority.

Yes. Firearm suicides make the majority of firearm deaths in the US by a modest margin. They're still preventable firearm deaths. Every other Western country has achieved lower per capita firearm deaths than the US, including suicide (except Greenland, which has a higher firearm suicide rate per capita than the US for some reason).

How did they achieve that? Have a big think, I know you can do it.

It's not related to mass shootings.

I never said it was. This infographic doesn't address mass shootings at all.

It's misleading because it's a lie. It's 1-19 year olds. Check the data.

You say "Western country" to purposely exclude Korea? Yeah cultural this and that in Korea, but the U.S. is an rather unstable country with high mental illness a lack of safety nets. I don't removing guns would have much impact on suicide rates. And it's misleading because it doesn't mention that. People will think based on that statistic that 30k+ people are gunned down in the street each year, but that's not true.

The thread title says mass shooting... your infographics isn't related, so why bring it up?

I think one reason for the American anger is because most people live far away from each other. They become kings and queens in there own minds.

In my experience Americans tend not to know the concept of personal space.

It's not a lie, that's how children are defined in the data. If you have a problem with this, go and rant at the statisticians.

You say "Western country" to purposely exclude Korea?

No, I say 'Western country' to include all countries with Western culture. Anyway, why bring up Korea? Does North or South Korea have a higher firearm death rate than the US? Does North or South Korea have a higher firearm suicide rate than the US?

Yeah cultural this and that in Korea, but the U.S. is an rather unstable country with high mental illness a lack of safety nets.

LOL, it's not just mental illness and lack of safety nets. Fix those tomorrow, and the US would still beat every other Western country in firearm deaths by a country mile.

I don't removing guns would have much impact on suicide rates.

And yet it does, as we see in every other Western nation except Greenland. Every single one. Can you explain why?

And it's misleading because it doesn't mention that. People will think based on that statistic that 30k+ people are gunned down in the street each year, but that's not true.

No they won't, because the links I've provided show that suicide deaths are included, and when you say 'firearm deaths' who in their right mind would assume that doesn't include firearm suicides? There's nothing misleading about that infographic, it uses the data precisely as it's intended to be used.

The thread title says mass shooting... your infographics isn't related, so why bring it up?

I was replying to a post about the impossibility of fixing US gun culture, so it's entirely related. US firearm statistics are driven by the culture and the national psyche. They are unique to the US for this reason.

Such a weird obsession with the US, I care more about what's happening in the UK.

I care strongly about what's happening in every country where I have friends and family. That includes the US. Even if I didn't have friends and family in the US, I would still care because I care about other human beings.

If you think this is unhinged wait till you hear about how the trans activists assaulted a woman (Riley Gaines) then she had to be barricaded in a classroom for 3 hours to keep her safe, while the school let it happen.

now that is an unhinged reaction.
