Today's mass shooting in the US

According to CNN he is also in the US Army Reserve. If they knew he was having a psychotic episode they should have immediately confiscated his guns and suspended his firing range/weapons access. That's how it's handled in the UK. But I suppose that since he is a firearms instructor it would have been easy for him to blag a weapon from a friendly customer even if he was on suspension from work.
That wasn’t the case with Ryan and Hamilton. Both known to police to be unstable and still allowed to retain firearms.

How can somebody with mental health problems who threatened to go on a shooting spree get to keep their job as gun instructor. Only in America, I can't imagine living in fear of every day life and thinking is it my day to be mass shooting victim. What's even worse is that children are not even safe is schools, imagine saying goodbye to them every morning and wondering is this last time I'm gonna see them.
Sad truth is that I think there are so many guns in the country I doubt there is anything they can do about it at this point.

Why is it every white shooter is a lone wolf or has mental health? Not tagged as a terrorist, thug, savage, etc.
The level of biased you show across all topics is outrageously hilarious.

It's sad that they just don't get that it's their gun laws that make this so common. :(
Only a fool chooses to learn from their own lessons, I dont have a word for someone/a country that cannot even learn from countless lessons.

The reality is, as a whole the US don’t care.

Any kind of rational discussion about common sense reforms just gets drowned out by some moron frothing/dribbling, ‘…SHALL NOT IMPINGE!!!’
They absolutely can do things about it

Schizophrenia with access to guns what a lovely mix.

When will Americans come together for the greater good and give up there guns, if they dont make an effort now generations and familys to come will suffer its just endless cycle every year.

How has this guy not been caught still on the run.
What? Protect citizens or allow companies to make $millions from selling arms to nutters. In the American view banning guns is heresy.

It was not that long ago in this country that some guy shot people despite police being warned about the guy's mental state.

It's absolutely telling that the general reaction to the spree murder of over a dozen people in the US now elicits no more than a shrug/ roll-eyes.

If that happened in the UK, it would be major news for days, maybe weeks, and lead to calls for action. And there probably would be legislation/ increased regulation.

I'm assuming the same stands for all European countries.

Some of the eastern European countries seem to have a load of guns but we do not seem to hear about mass shootings.
