Today's mass shooting in the US

Apparently that wasn’t a cop, but a reporter. He went to scene with his own legally held firearm to see if he could help. You can hear him talking to a cop though when he says “I shouted at him to get him to shoot over here instead of at other people”.

All kudos to the guy though, considering he wasn’t a cop in the first place, and there can’t be cover big enough anywhere in this world to accomodate the pair of balls he must possess.

At least he didn't get shot himself like the poor guy in the US who took down a shooter only for the police to round the corner and then shoot him dead.
 
I feel like the article is missing some pertinent information because I'm confused why the older of the two boys is getting down for attempted murder when it seems like he was trying to defend his sister/himself?

I think it's fairly normal to still be arrested, I'm sure he'll be released. Very sad situation, especially for the baby that now doesn't have a mother.

I would expect self defence to be a decent argument against the attempted murder charge but he's also being done for tampering with evidence for throwing the gun away.

There's no justice possible out of it, the injustice is that the situation right up to the shooting was acceptable.

There’s a difference between duty and right. The american gun right is breeding the right to kill who you like.

Duty - the commitment to defend and support one’s nation.
Right - allow by law.

If the right to bare arms is to support the nation, to defend the nation’s freedom then I understand it seems to have been increasing reinforced by certain institutions to mean shoot anyone that offends, disagrees with or has a difference of view. It’s nazi blackshirts by the backdoor.
 
In some states you are allowed to buy a firearm if you go into the shop dressed as hitler and say Trump was robbed i am on meth and Vegamite is imported by Dems to create a conflict in Seaton Sluice to deflect the election in 1969 that proclaimed Boris Spasky was right.
