Today's mass shooting in the US

Just watched a periscope channel from someone from near by and it’s been spun as been a female shooter. Apparently killed herself.

I then watched one from police - official press conference on periscope over there who wouldn’t get release any info.

So sad to see this happening.

well it is fortunate at least that it just seems to be injuries so far (aside from the shooter herself but whatevs as far as she is concerned)
 
A woman shooter? preposterous, this won't stand in the MSM propaganda machine that white men are inherently evil.

I wonder what Google will do now that they've been "justified" in their actions on Youtube's horridly inconsistent fascistic policies lately, it's a private company and all, but the issue ends up being that they're such a huge entity in public life that they shouldn't really be doing such things.

Their what? Oh, you mean their perfectly consistent policy of cracking down on hate speech, dangerous propaganda from the alt-health industry, and Holocaust denialism? Yeah, I can see how that's a big problem.

Ahh yes, Logan Paul is allowed to do whatever the **** he likes with a tiny slap on the wrist, small time gun channels that are legitimately alright are supposed to just go to hell though? Yup CONSISTENT.

What I like is the inconsistency between the new regulations for firearms stuff while they are quite happy to spam me with gambling ads which are far more likely to ruin my life - or in a bigger context far more likely to have a negative impact on society if I was to be fussy about it. Funny enough my first comment about that elsewhere, in seeming complete seriousness, was "no one has been killed by gambling" - seriously someone replied with that.

But I suspect the gambling industry is a bigger income source for YT than the firearms industry.

It's much worse than that. Historical channels and science channels have been entirely disabled (not just one or some videos, the entire channel) without explanation. The appeal system is barely functional even for channels large enough to have special access to Youtube support (special access which still appears to be bots rather than people) and it generally requires mass complaining from users to get the channel checked by a person and reinstated. There is never an explanation given for anything - content creators aren't told why Youtube has taken any action against them and it's possible that nobody at Youtube knows since it's almost entirely done by bots. Political views are even riskier. Describing that as "cracking down on hate speech" is either a lie, a delusion regarding what hate speech is or complete ignorance of what is happening.

Several of the big channels I'm subscribed to have been organising communications so that they have a lot of people who can complain to add weight of numbers in the event of stuff like this - most of them so far have just had the odd video completely removed or a channel demonetised with no explanation and a struggle to get anywhere with dealing with it - so they want a lot of people who'll make a noise if their entire channel with like 4+ million plus subscribers gets hit.

Couple of them have tried going elsewhere but as one said - they get 400K views in barely 24 hours on YT and lucky to break 4K views on other sites.

Sad state of affairs that a big site operates like that.

I haven't seen any evidence to suggest otherwise. All the alt right channels that I watch regularly are still online.

I watched a 'We're not actually denying the Holocaust, we're just asking if it really happened' video and a 'We need to talk about the Jewish Question' video the other day. They're still on YouTube, perfectly untouched. Tiny channels with less than 100 subscribers are happily mirroring these videos without any consequences.

He was completely demonetised for at least one month (a big hit for someone like Paul), he's still on a 90 day probation (so his videos won't appear in 'trending', and won't be pushed to non-subscribers) and he's still locked out of the Google Preferred ads program (another big hit).

I'd prefer to see him banned from YouTube altogether, but the unfortunate fact is that he hasn't broken any of their 'three strike' policies. Nevertheless, he's received a lot more than just a slap on the wrist.

Evidence please. I watch a few small time gun channels, and none of them are facing any difficulties.
