Why is someone reporting 5-7 hours....i'm playing now more then 6 hours and i'm around 50%....if i would take it slower, it's around 15hours max material.....

Some guy I know recons he has done it in 7 hours, 100%... Granted prob using a walk through though.

Because people are complete morons, they'll speed run/glitch their way to a games ending as fast as humanly possible and then claim it's a 2 hour game or a 30 minute game or whatever. Like Morrowind for example, that has about 300 hours of solid content if you like the game, yet somebody glitched their way through the main quest and completed it in 7 minutes I think, and then genuinly tried to convince people it was a short, rubbish 7 minute game. :D

A game takes as long as you allow it to.

I had to set mine to high settings, turn off the exclusive window thing and the L'oreal hair thing to stop it CTD... Although it wouldn't CTD it would cause the drivers to break then my whole machine locked up ._.

Yeap, also I find the older you get the more time you take to explore every nook and cranny. So in general I think older gamers take much longer to get through games then the younger ones who speed to the ending to be the first.

Anyone have any info on the new Nvidia driver to sort the CTD issues?

I know some( myself included) have found a temporary fix by turning settings to high instead of ultimate, and disabling tesselation.

but a new up to date driver would be cool too :P Suppose i shoud keep an eye on their facebook this week.

Really? It never works for me in Win 7, just pastes a blank white document...

I use fraps, no compression on the images.

Normal print screen works fine for me, not using fraps or steams screenshot grab. I am running win 8 though, not that that should make a difference?

completely addicted to this game, running it all maxed out with fxaa, get below 30 fps most of the time but meh feels smooth so not bothered and looks bloody good

Some people just like to rush through games it seems. I can very seldom watch Let's Plays etc on YouTube because the way most of them play games (by rushing through things, not paying attention, talking all over it or just not taking any of it seriously) annoys me to no end.

It's odd too, because you'd think that in an era were achievements and trophies are seemingly all the rage, people would be taking their time, but they seem to prefer to rush the game the first time, then go back through it just looking for the achievements. Weird.

Personally I love taking my time in games and exploring all the areas, looking around, reading anything there is to read and speaking with characters in the game.

So, I was going to be making a bit of a youtube series of this and although it's a good game. It's definitely not what the reviews have made out. It's too easy, the puzzles could be done with your eyes closed. And it's more about going about and finding meaningless collectibles than progressing in the story.

However, for what they have done it's done well but it's not the Tomb Raider I knew and loved!

I've put about 2 hours of actual gameplay in and at 12% completed - I don't tend to spend much time doing side stuff, etc. tho I do have the extra DLC tombs and so on and done 2 of those. So there probably is around 12-15 hours if you take it at a middle of the road pace and I can quite easily see people doing it in 7 hours then if they push on with the main quest and don't do any side stuff.

Ah you see you've decided to not get caught up in the must have 60fps and instead gone with the feel smooths, now enjoy the visuals...

I'm more of the same TBH. The hair looks really nice to me and when I turned it off I noticed it was not there and wanted it back on again..

I can take the fps hit, I've seen it dip into the low 30's for me but doesnt bother me as the game is just sooo bloody good, I'm hooked myself. Keep playing the opening over and over, its like playing a cutscene.

The graphics are very good, sadly screenshots do not come out well, ingame it looks amazing, but a screenshot looks poor.. Shame, but this is certainly uncharted 2 for PC with some far cry 3 thrown in. Two games I enjoyed mixed into one with Lara Croft? It was always going to be a winner for me IMO lol

Enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, if they'd only spent a bit of time getting the PC controls polished for those who actually use keyboard + mouse, removed most of the QTEs (1-2 are good but most are just pointless adolescent button mashing) and fleshed out some of the open world and tomb aspects a bit more it would be a 10/10 game easily as it is I'd be forced to rate it 6/10.
