Same here. Looks kind of like a barcode flashing on and off until loading completes.
 
I would say campaign is 15-18hours if you do everything, I estimate that's what I put in to it, just finished it 100% (Steam shows 9/10hours, but doesn't include the 5-6hours of offline play)

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Pros:

Engaging Story
Excellent combat/movement
Excellent graphics (imo)
Kept me wanting more

Cons:

Not enough puzzles, and those that were there were very easy
To much help (waypoints/survivor vision/treasure maps) - I played on normal, maybe on hard it would have removed some of these?

Overall - 8/10
 
I've had no problems with 314.14 but other people have had issues with it with kepler based GPUs - nVidia "apparently" has a driver update for kepler (600 series) on priority.
 
Just reporting back, seemed stable for 40 minutes after i disabled Tessellation and turned my system spec to "high" although its capable of 70+ fps on "ultimate" \:

Using a GTX670 with 314.07 WHQL driver. Looks like i can finally have a sit down with this tomorrow evening.
 
Epic game, certainly a lot of uncharted mixed with far cry 3, its got a great script to it. The TressFX can really hit your fps but I've learned to just accept it for what it is..

When in a cutscene the fps can really drop if it focus on Lara's head, I can certainly see a lot of hair flopping about.

but overall this is a stunning PC game.. Enjoying every minute of it.
 
Really enjoying the game so far, graphics are excellent.
Running on ultra settings with a gtx480 and it seems ok, had one issue initially where I started getting wild geometry all over the screen but I switched off tesselation and restarted, been fine since then. (using driver 314.07)

Only negative for me so far is the QTE stuff, I dont mind a bit of that but it kinda got a little annoying for me.

You wont regret it one bit! The jump from 1 to 2 was incredible! 2 to 3 was an improvement but not as noticeable as 2 was sooo good for the time and even today
 
Totally love the game (Think ive played about 4hrs not infront of my pc so not sure). Really enjoying hunting around each area to 100% it or at least as close as I can since I think for some you need to come back later with better equipment? So far im unsure on the TressFx for me I think the hair over her face works better than her hair at the back due it sitting off her shoulders and clipping a lot.
 
Got a little carried away last night, was up til 2am hehe.
Really enjoying it, was plannign on using the pad but I aim like some kind of blind chimp with it so decided to try kbm, controls seem fine tbh.

Really enjoying it, ended up leaving it on ultra with tesselation off and plays nice n smooth.
QTE's as annoying as ever tho :(
 
Played an hour or two last night, really like it. Actually really like the TressFX, turned it off to see how it ran, but missed the effects.

Looking forward to playing more of this. :)
 
Managed to play a couple of hours last night too.

Running about 30fps on my 7950 with everything on full and with TressFX enabled at 5040x1050, not sure now if I could cope with dropping down to a single screen for increased performance (not that it really needs it) having seen it running in Eyefinity... ;)
 
Very tempted to pick this up for either my ps3 / xbox or PC!

My PC isn't amazing, Q6600? 660 Nvdia, but I was wondering will there be much difference between it visually from consoles?

Any comparison shots?

Odd, With everything on ultra my 670 was considerably lower than 70+. More like around 30. Will check again tonight..
 
So far really enjoying TR, but the utterly brainless QTEs are close to completely ruining the gameplay for me. Real shame :(
 
i'm kinda lost now....i was about too free sam but fastravelled to other camps....now i don't know how to return, help?

No worries, i was only a little knarked because
had literally just been introduced to sam as a character through the first camcorder scene on the ship, and found that she was missing.

i'll be a little more cautious before reading here next time :D
