Very tempted to pick this up for either my ps3 / xbox or PC!

My PC isn't amazing, Q6600? 660 Nvdia, but I was wondering will there be much difference between it visually from consoles?

Runs great for me with similar system on med-high (obviously with the tressfx and the like turned off)

i been wondering what are those doors with rope or unlockables etc...

overlla 9/10 for me so far.

Yeah you upgrade gear etc so you will have to come back for certain collectables that's why they put fast travel in.

Enjoying the game. TressFX only seems to kill frame rates during cutscenes when the camera is near Lara. But other than that I get between 35 (open areas) to 60 fps on a 7970. Turning TressFX off might help.

PC versions have significantly higher quality textures than the console versions.

I'm running on a Q6600 and a GTX580. With everything on Ultra but TressFX off I'm getting 50fps at 1080p. Even if you needed to turn the graphics down a bit it would still look better than either of the console versions.

I think the console versions are similar to low/normal at 720p if I'm right?

Can anyone help with a couple of niggles i have with the game please?

I can't figure out the QTE for when a wolf attacks, I do the L + R thing until a couple of circle appears and I have no idea what to do at that point to get the wolf off me.
Oh, and how do you fast travel?, I go to the base camp but I all I can seem to do is look at my skills attributes.

Otherwise I'm loving the game so far, have been taking the time to complete everything before moving the storyline on another step.

I don't know the keyboard buttons, but it's the same button on the 360 controller which is Y...

And you are very early in game, so you can't fast travel anywhere yet.

BloodyL, I think it's "F" as the default button on the keyboard, or it might be "E" (the Use key)

'E' was for the hand icon one i think. other was 'F'.

I'm really enjoying it actually, more so than I thought. Got it for £21 and even if I do it in 5-7 hours I'm happy.

I want to take some screenshots but the steam system seems to not take the shots at full res as they look a bit haze-ie and nothing like how they look ingame

Took some screenshots last night using good old fashioned prt scr then pasting into paint.

Why is someone reporting 5-7 hours....i'm playing now more then 6 hours and i'm around 50%....if i would take it slower, it's around 15hours max material.....

Really? It never works for me in Win 7, just pastes a blank white document...

I use fraps, no compression on the images.

Enjoyed what I've played so far but just once little niggle, the water seems to be glitching/bugging. On the section where you first get the bow it seems to overlap all the other textures no matter where you are or if the water is in view or not.

Running on the latest beta AMD drivers for my 7950.
