I think she was even younger in that part of revelations where you were in ireland
Yes, then a bit older (in line with the rest of the original TR's) after the first part of the game.
As this is a reboot they could have made her any age they liked, I don't think it's necessarily supposed to fit in exactly with past games.

Just my preferred way to play but rule o thumb for me, 3rd person games I use an Xbox pad 1st person mouse and keyboard and multiplayer always mouse and keyboard. Don't want to be at a disadvantage against human players
I was actually wanting to play with a pad, but after consideration adn my cackhanded "joystick" aiming I decided to try KBM and tbh it's not that bad, everythign in easy reach, the only minor niggle is the lack of strafing.
Wiki says the start of Revalations was 1984 and she was 16, and the rest of the game was 1999 making her 29.
But yes, this is a reboot, it isn't meant to fit with the history in the previous games. Plus, this new game wouldn't really have worked with a 14 year old...

I did feel a little sad seeing the ipod (or whatever) on the ship, etc. in many ways it feels wrong having her young in a contemporary setting.
Its a reboot, so it would have been worse for them to just try and copy the past games.
I hope this spawns a few (not to many) sequels with this new universe. My only worry with that is that they chuck them out quickly and don't put the time and care into it like they have with this one.

Hope if they do sequels they rework the QTEs (or take them out entirely but some work quite well tho they are the minority) had yet another one just now where despite saying press enter (the key I have bound to melee) no matter how accurately timed, mashed or just plain held down enter did absolutely nothing and it takes 3-4 tries just mashing all the action keys til something makes it work 
Yes I'm failing pretty badly but I'd had to do this one about 10 times due to the QTEs not working and was getting bored with it and low fps due to capturing
There is definitely an underlying bug with them (tho I don't like them at the best of times) as the chasm monastery ones a lot of people, including me, have a problem where pressing the keys only does half the action and you can't complete them until you reload last checkpoint a few times until they start working properly.
EDIT: For clarity - for instance in the one where shes hanging from a hook (not the one at the start of the game) your supposed to press left and right as she swings to build up momentum but when its bugged she only jerks a little bit in reaction to the key press and never swings until you happen to get a reload where it works.

The only issue I had was near the start, and not being sure which prompt was E or F, once I recognised the icons though I have been fine with this since.
So what icons does it show when not using a pad? Does it update to reflect the newly bound keys, or does it just show X and Y for the pad regardless?
