Tomb Raider Thread

Splinter Cell Conviction got decent scores but when i played it i just felt betrayed and im thinking this is going to do the same
 
Watched a few of the Videos yesterday, doesn't look too much like a Tomb Raider game which is a shame. It does look like a fun action adventure game with set pieces and enjoy that genre also. It's reviewed well, but had one hell of a marketing spend.

£25 seems reasonable for10-15 hours of story.
 
I've not seen the list of joypad commands for the console version. If any of you have, should it translate easily to the keyboard without having about 25 keys needing to be assigned?

Really hoping it controls as fluidly as the likes of Max Payne with the mouse/kb combo. With auto aiming gone there is no way I'm going to be faffing about with analogue sticks and whatnot. I want razor sharp mouse aiming allowing Lara to launch arrows between enemies eyes from 100 yards away!

A certain shop had it for a £22 digital download but the preorder bonuses looked better on Steam and worth the extra fiver. Didn't see the point of going £5 over that to get a camoflage bikini and some PDF files tho.

I'm looking forward to giving this a go. I agree with people's points about it moving away from its original style. But at the same time I think it needed reinventing as the last few games haven't stood out.

Just got a new 7950 so it's gonna be sweet :-)
