Tomb Raider Thread

Also looking forward to this, no idea when to expect the keys from AMD though, has to be soon!

I'm eating crow on this one. I thought it was going to be a trainwreck, but unless Square Enix has the biggest moneyhats in the business, it looks like this is legitimately good.

If anyone's missed the news, AMD's new tressfx is being used in this game and it sure looks nice.

Im guessing this is to rival Nvidia PhysX ?starting with hair.

Shame i dont have an AMD card, i could really use better hair on my Lara.

Any news on how well it runs? System hog or not?

Glad the reviews are coming back positive but I'll still wait for user feedback

Anyone know when 'AMD Gaming Evolved' will send the keys out for this?

I was planning on selling mine but I quite like the look of it so far. Decisions decisions.

I've not seen the list of joypad commands for the console version. If any of you have, should it translate easily to the keyboard without having about 25 keys needing to be assigned?

Really hoping it controls as fluidly as the likes of Max Payne with the mouse/kb combo. With auto aiming gone there is no way I'm going to be faffing about with analogue sticks and whatnot. I want razor sharp mouse aiming allowing Lara to launch arrows between enemies eyes from 100 yards away!

This is what will make or break it for me no matter how good the rest of the game will be. One of the things I really liked about dishonored was how well thought out the controls were.

I'm oddly hoping for good PC to controller support as I play most games like this from the PC with a 360 controller.
