Guess a series with 10 eps (was 10 this time right?) was just too many with said producer

. I could see them parting ways if Clarkson has sold his shares in Top Gear. The bbc know it works on some level with different presenters and I bet Clarkson is getting bored now, Will see I guess.

If he didn't physically hit someone and instead possibly a threat, it depends how the threat (if there was one) was delivered, jokingly or seriously. Certainly I'd expect some form of disciplinary if I seriously threatened to harm someone at work.

I heard that someone close to clarkson said he had not hit anyone and was having a cold pint waiting for it to all just blow over. He doesn't seem to worried. But then he can afford to not worry!

The show wouldn't work without him.... I was at dunsfold filming last Friday, loved have a snoop around the track, and got to do the last 2 corners at speed though

I'm sure it'll all get sorted one way or the other. Clarkson is a huge cash cow for the BBC so I wonder how much they are willing to let him get away with for that.

I would actually quite like to see them go ahead with the next few eps with jsut May and Hammond presenting to see what it's like

The phone in on 5 Live this morning had a hilarious batty women on 10 mins ago claiming all death and destruction on the roads is down to TG lol.

I wouldn't be so sure of that and to be honest I feel this is the end for topgear now.

It is rather strange that (as far as we know) an event took place that was not 'at work' and was so insignificant that it wasn't reported on until days after, and might not have even happened at all according to some sources.

Yet, one of the biggest brand names in TV is brought to it's knees and hundreds of millions of fans have to suffer.

Talk about taking a nuke to a fist fight. :confused:

We all know Clarkson can be a nob, but unless he's murdering and raping children, what he does when not recording TG is none of our business as far as I'm concerned !!
