Quite possibly there was an element of bullying going on, a don't mention this if you want to keep your job type thing. Given that it has gone legal it will be a while before the full details are revealed.

In the same vein this is sort of thing some people want Top Gear to go back too, the infamous Vectra review that caused Clarkson to quit the first time around -

That's pretty good by M&M standards. Some of Hammond's earlier stuff on the channel was contemptible.

They seem to be trying the infinite monkies/typewriters tactic. If they try enough formats they might stumble upon one that isn't pants.

Didn't they try and set one series in a greasy spoon cafe?

They had Chandock on in the 1st ep. as a presenter, he's terrible. Not seen the 2nd ep yet but have it recorded for when i get bored.

The series you were on about was filmed at Ace cafe in London when they had Tom Ford as a presenter, he was ok actually, i hate VBH and Tiff makes me cringe. I just watch it for the cars tbh and take it light heartedly.

Quite amused to find that the cancelled episodes are showing in the US.

Didn't even bother looking to watch it last week on Monday, Sunday afternoon and I just discovered it's being repeated with the part2 showing as normal tomorrow.

Full episodes are normally 90 minutes over here, these are only an hour so maybe it's missing the studio sections...

Currently watching Richard and Jeremy driving through Italy in a Lambo and McLaren.

Italy - Rome, Bolona and next episode Siena. It's Jeremy driving a McLaren, Richard in Lambo.

Currently doing a bunch of racing stuff at Mugello with an F-Type and M4 vs the Stig in an Abarth.

edit: Ahh, explains why I hadn't seen it then.
