Total Lunar Eclipse - Saturday 3rd March

most websites i've looked at say that 300mm is the least you should use for a good shot.

i've been using a 205mm Ozeck and it looks quite good through the viewfinder.

we'll have to wait till the film am developed before we see whether the shots are good or not. :(

I have crummy photo kit but it looks good in real life. I have even mamaged to persuade her ladyship away from the telly to take a gander.

The wonders of the heavens never cease to amaze me but they also make me sad, knowing I will never have the opportunity to see all that the universe offers. :( :)

The moon is red for me. What's going on?!

:D Its meant to be because light is being refracted by the Earth's atmosphere to the moon, only the red spectrum from the rest visible spectrums are getting through. Hence it looks red :)

It's supposed to be red. The only light getting to it now is what's being refracted by the earths atmosphere.

EDIT: Damn, beaten to it!

Gone totally now here in East London, my moms been ringing everyone telling them about it:p....bless her my mom...gets excited over the smallest of things lol:p.

Not really gone red as i thought it would have been its been totally covered now for a good 10-15 mins.
