Total War: Warhammer 2

Nvidia have released new drivers specially for this game. You should probably upgrade before the game comes out.

Really hyped to be playing this game next week. Looks really good.
 
For those who have preordered it on Steam, you can preload it at 5.30pm today and best news of all...instead of the pesky 6pm unlocks, it unlocks on release day at 8.30am, nice ! a release day which is actually a day and not just an evening.

Awesome. I'll download it tonight then. Looking forward to having a good playthrough on Thursday. Should be good :).
 
The reviews are are out now. It's getting 9/10's from most places, seemingly its being reported to be the best Total War so far.

You can pre-load the game now and it's roughly 25GB.

Which are the best reviews to read? I mean I've already pre-ordered it so it doesn't really matter but I might as well read some reviews to keep me going until Thursday :).
 
I've been trying not to watch anything, or read any reviews, about this game - but I'm super hyped :D

What I really want, though, is the combined campaign. I might give it a few weeks for that to come out, and for my favourite mods to get sorted out too.

Although I might fail and pre-order - like last time.

If you pre-order you get Norsca free, though if you get a CD-KEY instead it probably works out cheaper buying separately.

I have been watching loads of Youtube stuff about it as I think this is one of the few gaming series where it benefits you to get familiarity with things before release. I am also waiting for the combined campaign map, the Vortex one doesn't really interest me so much.

As for the mods... I heard bad things about the tool not being as good as for WTW I... hope those fears prove unfounded.
