cant you do something like combine normal leather rolls together ? maybe use rope ?

i fked up my server , taking ages to get my backpack (coz i lost the one you start with)

got to the blacksmith, made a hammer head (its a mallet), used it on the correct size handle that's there, too bloody big and too bloody strong

so then i figured out, when u get to blacksmiths there is a hammer head (didn't think it was at the time) so i had to use than on the LARGE wooden handle that's there, again, cant use that on the the nails :(

no now i have no hammer !! grrrrr


at least i know what im doing now, ill have a look on Mels Town, and do some easy runs like wood or coal etc until i get another play join then we can go for rarer stuff

Just a note. Carrying 15 gold ingots makes you realllllly slow. Especially when carrying 150 pieces of wood too...

However, after a very slow walk, the back way to the camps is now open at the back of the blacksmiths.
 
not a lot i can do on my own

went down the mines, scary on your own, light is terrible (but to be expected)
got a few rocks from first level down, didnt want to go further just in case i died (no potion with me for starters)

Yeah, mines are scary on your own. Rock people don't scare me too much, but the fact wyrms can pop up anywhere is worrying. Even if the acid doesn't hurt that much.

We can always do with more wood, there's a stairway at the dust bowl that you can teleport around, but it wouldn't be bad if it was built. With enough wood I believe we can use it for lamps and the blacksmith stuff too, not to mention cooking.
 
didnt get time to go wood cutting, as i couldn't find any wood cutters (apart from that one on the floor. which looked too special to take)

so I created a wood axe head and another small hammer head.
thought i was creating a medium sized handle in the wood cutter building, turned out to be loads of arrows ! lol

being as we only had the one hammer i wanted to create another for when that breaks

i also created the next size up (mallet) to use on the anvil

just need to show my where to get handles made now and then i can finish those off
 
Nails need small hammer heads, the forge is good with the large one (not quite the largest though, that's tough to work with).

I don't think we have the recipe for the smaller 1 handed handle yet, that fits hammers nicely, but it might be the one I've put the pickaxes on, which is in the recipe books. It's 2 wood blocks long (so 12 pieces of wood).
