Great fun last night, with 5 of us, it makes a huge difference in gathering stuff, we can build so much faster, soon we all be going into the mines and build the teleportation device
I don't know if anyone is on today / tonight, but after work some time I'm hopeing to join and look for some leather etc and make a few backpacks , I also want to make the wood cutters backpack and then I can carry all the wood we find to create all the bridge's we need etc

We need the recipe for the wood cutters backpack first i believe!

Sorry @melmac and guys, my daughter has been unwell so i've not had the time to even boot my Quest 2 up.
She's much better now so hopefully I can get some time soon to get involved.
What time in the evening do you all generally get on to play?

It was good yesterday. More people definitely makes it better.
Now, I want to ask you guys should we only go into the game when most people are available to play? Just to keep everyone involved. Rather than have one or two people spending hours and hours in the game doing basically everything? Try to do more of the exploring etc as a group rather than on your own?
Maybe, a rule that you are only allowed explore new areas with the group? Else you have to stay in previously explored areas? Or maybe roleplay a little bit, that people stick to one profession? So that if you want something made in the blacksmith you have to ask the blacksmith to make it etc. etc.
Or maybe these all rubbish suggestions and we should just play the game as normal.
I am only trying to cater for those people who can't spend as much time in the game as others. This all came to me yesterday as I was playing in the server on my own. That other people might have liked to experience it from the beginning and I should have waited before starting.
What do you guys think?

Well, we can try to arrange times to suit as many people as possible. So let us know what days/times you are available and we can try to work around it.

Woops! Just read this having done a bit more.
I like the idea of only exploring new areas as part of a group. However, I have just blown up the dust bowl wall and done a chest run there. Anyone not familiar with that place/chest run route, we'll show you around it next time we're online together. It's not really advanced stuff, but it's useful. It also finishes where there's a place to refill teleport potions, so you can just complete the route, fill your potion and drink it to get home quick.

Hey, it's no problem. I am not in charge lol. Just making suggestions and asking what you guys think? Or have you guys any suggestions? Like if everyone wants to play away as normal, that's 100% fine too.
I don't want to end up completing a load of stuff by myself, which I could easily end up doing. I say we need at least a small group to do significant things.

Yeah she is ok now, just came down with a really heavy cold but were worrying it was Covid as had a high temp etc. Lots of hassle getting a test done so she could go back to school etcI would be on from between 8 - 9ish normally, though some days it could be a bit earlier. Cool I'll add you today at some point

I can do any day really except a Thursday and normally from around 8 to 9ish.
Yeah I can connect my PC to the Quest though not tried it for a while. Was having a few issues running Steam VR games as it kept on dropping the Q2 just before the game would launch but I think Oculus games are fine.
I'll power it up tonight for a test session as I've just upgraded to V33 and see how I get on.
Oh and i've just set up my Alta Launcher account name which is R0cksteddie
P.S I hope my current broadband will be up to it, roll on the 7th!!!

You know the chest run from the dust bowl, grabbing stuff from the chests is always useful. We definitely need buckles too. Some proper pickaxes for everyone would be a nice addition, as would axes perhaps.
Buckets/iron needs to go into building the smelter, so we can melt down cauldrons for even more iron and build up some other stuff. I plan on going on again in a short while, may do another chest run.
